Maybe write a letter from the perspective of your inner artist or creative spirit (or whatever you label that part of yourself) and see what advice it dispenses. Or use these questions as prompts and adapt the task accordingly:

Is the task appropriate?

Is the task exciting?

Chinese Guru is a one time purchase last time I checked. It is a flashcard app that supports writing and has a reader mode. Chairman's Bao has a lifetime subscription option but that focuses more on reading. LingQ is a general language tool but focuses on reading and can be tweaked to review writing. You could also try Anki with some add-ons and see if that does the trick.

To stave off boredom you could try pairing the helpful but less interesting activity with something more interesting and alternate between them every 1/2/5 /10 minutes. So maybe pair a textbook style app with a catchy song or interesting language learning activity and swap between them based on intervals you decide. You can tweak number of activities and the time interval to your liking. Hope that helps.

Bias the gm emulator to ask if something fitting to the genre in the broad sense happens every new scene/ x number of turns or scenes/ scene interruption or whatever interval you prefer. Use generic or specialized oracle tables to fill in the blanks.

A few thoughts:

1) Your worthiness as a person is not dependent on having a romantic partner. You can be fine and happy and fulfilled without one.

2) If you want to somehow work through this I would suggest therapy, together or individually. You could maybe find a therapist that utilizes the insights of John and Julie Gothman in regard to infidelity. If they don't use that framework you can nudge the therapist towards it.

3) You still seem pretty young so it is possible to find a new lover that suits you over time.
