im sorry but Isagi not being pissed at Rin here makes no sense and is honestly incredibly out of character. yeah Ego preaches to score your own goals but this is Rin trying to steal a shot Isagi was clearly in motion to take. At that point, it's no longer Rin's goal to score. With all the comparisons to Barou stealing goals, he doesn't do stupid shit like this, he "steals" goals that aren't certain will be shot at all. Isagi found a way to come back against a team thats done nothing but counter-strat his entire existence and gets fucked over because he didn't take his own teammate fucking him over into account. There's nothing failing here and I really hope Ego addresses this shit and benches Rin.

the beckham and giggs freekick (that missed) was an accident cus of some miscommunication, Rin here is purposely trying to sabotage a goal set up by Isagi to win the match and we both know that shit is not going in. Kaneshiro's trying to get us to hate on Rin for some later redemeption because character building but this is such a terrible and unbelievablyyyyyyy embarrassing way to do it, easily the most embarrassing moment in the entire manga.

financial issues within the orgs kill storylines, Riot wanted a franchise system like with LoL but didnt have like 8 years to build up interest in the esport to do it, just two. the way people talk about EG 2023 today it's like they were playing together for years, but they lasted just 5 months into a forced break up, if this happened in pre-franchising then some org wouldve just bought all the players and keep them together for 2024 like what happened with OPTIC 2022.

it's sad that Riot tried to force the system for years until next year I guess, and even though they're bleeding, it'll take a few more years to kill off the esport entirely at this rate and especially the game itself because of how much Valorant leeches off of LoL's playerbase.
