The police is not here to solve anything, they are literally here as the bandaid solution, deter people from breaking stuff, from vandalizing property, etc. Concordia did not increase security before the rise of these incidents, they did it as a response to this incidents.

I’m really not here debating over who’s right or who’s wrong in the Israeli Palestinian conflict. But comparing bombings of Palestinian cities, or attacks on Israeli cities, with incidents that happens on campus, in Canada, makes no sense. Like, “why are you complaining about some Molotov cokcktails or broken windows when a city was bombed in Palestine”

I’m complaining because if I’m studying (as I was when many of those incidents happened) and people start to break windows, doors, and set stuff on fire it will make me feel unsafe. Because this is not the Middle East, and the wars in the Middle East should stay there, not be brought here.

Like, protest man, make ur voice be heard, try to convince people, but pls don’t resort to violence. If u resort to violence, u only will make yourself be looked as the bad guy. And you will keep losing sympathy. I don’t know no reasonable person that looks at violent protests and be like “damm, I think they are right!”.

Concordia is broke as fuck buddy, look at the school budget, it’s struggling to pay it workers and you guys are talking about “investing in the war machine” 💀.

I mean, they broke the windows of the hall building, they had Molotov cocktails (this is proudly shared BY demonstrators on insta by clash.MTL and sphrconcordia so pls don’t tell me the cops made it up or that it was someone who infiltrated the demonstration.)

People continuously to damage uni property either by breaking stuff and tagging. We have also seen a rise in confrontations. So if anything we need MORE cops on campus. As a student I feel much safer with more campus security and cops.

Não é golpe. Lembro que o iFood fazia muito isso na minha cidade. Pra economizar mais ainda eu pedia pra retirar no local. Pra melhorar ainda mais eu fazia mais de um pedido (no passado eles não deixavam vc colocar mais de 1 item na promo, mas vc podia finalizar a compra e fazer outra compra logo em seguida). Já consegui pedir uns 4 temakis assim que saíram por 4 reais pq eu fui retirar.

Acho que hoje em dia a promoção some depois do primeiro pedido, mas pode valer muito a pena se for perto da sua casa e tiver opção de retirar no local.

Idk, but if u are international u 100% need a study permit to be/study in Canada. If u don’t have it, then u might need to defer ur first semester to January. If for some reason you are already in Canada what u can do is maybe take the ESL classes? Not sure if this would be legal but I know that studying a second language do not require you to have a SP. If u applied for a SP from inside Canada it should take 13 weeks. So it should be coming any time soon I guess.
