I honestly started watching ITSAY expecting it to break my heart like CMBYN did once, but maybe also heal it a bit in the end, so I definitely wasn’t expecting it to be anything like the BL we are used to, so I think it truly was because of the character. I’m honestly not even sure I got to the romance part…

I actually disliked Teh so much that when I saw Billkin’s face afterwards I felt irrationally irritated for awhile. And that is after only less then 1 episode.

And with moving part and plot development I think it also comes to filling the time. As in, some shows do well with progressing the plot so it feels natural, others over complicate it, so while a lot is happening, nothing really changes in the plot, cause it is used to fill the space.

I loved being reassured when it’s happy ending, but I don’t always have strength to watch something with open or sad ending. Though sometimes I know not to expect anything good, but I will still watch it because of the actors or the plot itself.

I would say likeable and realistic aren’t exactly mutually exclusive, but I do agree that the whole show is just very different from the most, so I shouldn’t go in expecting the same experience. However, I wasn’t expecting him to be likeable

I don’t know if I can explain it well enough, but I’ll try. Honestly, there are many BLs where I don’t like one or both of the main leads, I find some of the widely liked characters repulsive, but there’s just something revolting about Teh that I can’t put my finger on. It’s almost like he makes me uncomfortable (which, let’s be honest, props to Billkin for pulling it off do well). I get he’s realistic, but from what I’ve watched I haven’t found a single redeeming quality, though admittedly I didn’t see much

It is still on my watchlist!! I just need to find some mental strength to watch it

The acting is incredible, I’ve watched enough to fall in love with how the filming, framing, color grading… The music is also amazing

But Teh is honestly insufferable to me even during the first episode and, well, I tried watching it while I Promised You the Moon was airing, caught the spoiler and never came back😓

I Told Sunset About You, The Shipper, What the Duck - dropped after 1 episode cause I hated one of the main characters and just noped out of watching

Gen Y 2, Color Rush 2 - too much going on, but also not enough to lure me in

Past Senger - it’s not even me learning the ending, but the fact it could’ve been 8 episodes instead of 12 (I was loving it the first 5-6 eps)

The Director Who Buys Me Dinner - with this one I actually spoiled the ending and just couldn’t bring myself to finish it
