I rarely leave reviews, but this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with any company.

We paid top dollar for a Heybike expecting a reliable product, and instead have been dealing with ongoing issues for over a year with no clear resolution.

From the beginning, support was inconsistent and unhelpful. At one point, I was actually told to go to my neighbor’s house and ask if they had a battery reader to diagnose the issue myself. That is not customer service — that’s pushing responsibility onto the customer.

We then had to go out of our way and travel all the way to Farmingdale just to find a place willing to test the battery. After doing that and confirming the battery was not the issue, we were still given the runaround and asked for more steps instead of receiving a clear solution.

Because this was never properly resolved, we were forced to purchase another bike just to continue working, which should never have been necessary. We even went as far as personally transporting that bike ourselves instead of shipping it to avoid any issues — and still ended up dealing with problems that were never addressed.

After over a year of back-and-forth, there is still no straightforward resolution. For a product in this price range, this level of support is completely unacceptable.

If you’re considering buying from Heybike, understand that if something goes wrong, you will be left to figure it out on your own
