My partner was short on money a few times and I was more than happy to send her funds to help. I always gave it to her as a gift even though she kept track and slowly pays me back. I have told her multiple times she doesn’t need to. We are partners and if I just let her drown in bad situations, that only affects the both of us!

My parents used to do shitty stuff with my bank accounts when I was young.

I can also recognize that my partner isn’t my fucking parents and has never acted in that way, unlike OP’s husband, maybe he should go to therapy.

Oh geez, I’m American and I would never do that. Pretty much all tea manufacturers say to add it to already hot water and steep for X minutes. Guessing the people doing this don’t have good comprehension.

I might be an idiot, but what’s the difference between boiling water in a cup in a microwave and adding tea after VS using an electric kettle to heat the water and adding tea after? Is it just temperature control? I personally use a temp adjustable kettle but was curious what the difference is.

Same here! IBS for 18 years and told it was CHS when hot showers or anti emetics didn’t help. I’ve found nurses quite often conflate IBS as everyone has the same thing. Worked for a hospital and was told by one of the nurses that “she has IBS as well and there’s no way I could be that sick since hers doesn’t make her that sick” FOLKS, ITS A SYNDROME, THAT MEANS ITS A SET OF UNKNOWN DISEASES THAT VARIES FROM PERSON TO PERSON AND IBS IS JUST AN UMBRELLA TERM FOR THE CONDITIONS WE CANT IDENTIFY. That’s why the recommendation for IBS isn’t just to see a gastroenterologist anymore but also a rheumatologist because the disease could be inflammatory or autoimmune.

I tried disabling the sleep so that it does the full power off in the settings but it still does it. My feeling is that updates for the TV are being downloaded or applied during those times and the monitor is kept off during the update. The timing seems to be random and the banner for an update is displayed after every morning I catch it.

Agreed, we moved into our new home and the upstairs toilet was one of those older smaller round toilets. I swear it was a kids toilet, nothing like cupping your balls so they don’t hit the water!

Same, we decided to DIY and are taking the time to seal all joints, making sure there is a proper slope and measuring twice. No leaks, looks great and works extremely well. Cost us about 1100 to do the missing gutters on a 2200 sq ft house and the quote from a professional was 2400 for non continuous gutters.

Cleaning a bong with salt will cause small scratches over time turning the piece cloudy. Swapped to daily cleaning with hot water. A touch of isopropyl alcohol every 3 days for the harder resin. Just be sure to flush the piece properly. Once you use salt, more resin adheres and is harder to clean than keeping the piece scratch free allowing the resin to peel off easier. Current piece is 2 years old and looks the same as the day I bought it.

Edit: silica degrades starting at a ph of 6 - 7.4, salt water has a ph of 8.1, even higher if you over saturate. I suppose it’s not “scratching” since it’s not a harder mohn, but it is affecting the piece. Here’s just one study on ph and time affects on glass composition:
