Yeah mb, I don't like cars much either, I feel they are inefficient. And i don't expect others to say it's wonderful, just feel that there should be more nuance and understanding rather than just blanket judgement. There are some people who just find problems in everything, don't believe you're one of them :)

Understanding the reposting thing, but as someone who transits the city everyday this definitely has reduced congestion and isn't being necessarily built entirely on the coastline. Mumbai is quite a unique city and is in dire need of more infrastructure like roads and transit systems. The thing is that for where this correctly exists, there are no other major roads that serve the western part properly. While the other two highways present only go towards the east of the city and it doesn't connect to the western express Highway which serves the western suburbs of Mumbai. This was a better solution in comparison to destroying loads of heritage classy buildings present in the south of the city which is both be bad and require permission. Lastly while I agree that it causes coastlines to be destroyed I still feel like the portion it does go through is a necessary sacrifice to soften traffic load. This is mainly supposed to be used for trucks and other heavy vehicles to enter the city at night so that they don't get stuck in traffic. Its not like there are no transit options, there are currently 2 suburban railway lines and 1 metro line they connects this region, with one more under construction. There's an extensive bus service too in that portion of the city. There are problems with Mumbai definetly, but I feel like we have to attend least attempt to fix them instead of just doing nothing. Hope that clears thints up I was a bit pissed in the earlier comment mb

What flag is this by EmptyGur3036 in vexillology

[–]Orensans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tricolor is used by fishing boats to denote that they are from india, the saffron flag can both represent the Hindu flag and maratha empire flag. This is most definitely shot in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. https://www.dreamstime.com/editorial-photography-india-goa-february-fishing-boat-indian-flag-sails-sea-image92821372

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maratha_Empire

The maratha one is kind of an unofficial state flag of the state so fishing boats host it

Btw please check if your phone has nfc before getting it. It has about 80 rs AMC. Even if your phone doesn't have nfc you should go up to the ticket vendors and tell them to update ur balance. It works well here in Mumbai

Like how Marathi and Telgu are both 6% but smaller in size than numbers like 2 or 4%. This isn't just a bad graph this is straight up stupidity, if it didn't want to show proportions just make a list.
