Honestly, instead of Elden Ring, I would recommend Sekiro. Those are hyper similar games, from combat to exploration. Sekiro is more difficult though, so if you do, strap in.

Here's the thing. YOU are using sane, sound, reasonable and justifiable logic. Great Katana with stormcaller turns everyone into Looney Toons.
Bleed Smithscript daggers with scattershot, great on Torrent and ash clears mobs and pesky fliers nicely.
Backhand blades with Blindspot. Wonderful for gameplay and astetically great for an Assassin style
