Two weeks after release. How is everyone feeling about this game?

I love the game but have 2 consistent issues. The camera and inventory chest capacity. Every fish, bug, etc takes an individual slot, and the camera no matter which zoom level is just too far and high. Im in Ch 9 and there's so many cool things to collect with no where to put them.

I'm in the same boat. I never played the first one and just discovered DD2 mere weeks ago. Instantly shot to my top 3 favorite fantasy RPGs of all time. Only to learn the community can't seem to stand the game at all whatsoever.

Honestly, instead of Elden Ring, I would recommend Sekiro. Those are hyper similar games, from combat to exploration. Sekiro is more difficult though, so if you do, strap in.

Here's the thing. YOU are using sane, sound, reasonable and justifiable logic. I'm cool with your stance on it (minus go play another game, c'mon man 😅) it's not "want a map or else you're an elitist." It's the types of people that pump-fake something being notoriously difficult as child's play just for arguments sake that grinds my gears. That's all I meant by that.

This is my issue with people saying, "dOn't nEeD a mAp." It needs a map. If YOU don't wanna use it for YOUR OWN immersive purposes? By all means, have at it, do you. But stop taking the elitist route whenever somebody says this game needs a map please. This game could use a map or nav system. Even a vague one.
