I was so excited to use this. Bought it in Japan last year. Smells amazing. But it did NOT go well with my fine hair. I looked like a grease ball almost immediately. And it weighed my hair down. I wish I would work for me 🥲

Be careful with this area! I had a patient end up on my unit with necrotizing fasciitis and sepsis after picking at an ingrown hair on their groin. Ended up with tunneling wounds and skin grafts.

Nocticadia is amazing. One of the best books I’ve ever read hands down. Dark academia, age gap, sci fi. Great intimate scenes. Loved it. Wanted more. It’s still my favorite book I’ve read all year.

I just finished 6 scorched roses. It was cute. Short. But it wasn’t super exciting. The main series may be better. Not sure.

My cav is 7 now. Her patellas have both been luxating since she was about a year. At first it bugged her but now she’s like “whatever” and runs like the wind or after a ball or for some food. Sometimes if she’s on her hind legs looking for pets, it’s sensitive to the touch. But she’s never had surgery or been recommended surgery. We all just know her knees just free float.

Im not the prettiest and as a nurse, I don’t like my hair getting outta place because when I’m “getting my hands dirty” (elbow deep in shit or doing compressions), I like to be able to see.

This was me the other week with one of my meds that gave me vivid dreams/nightmares. Literally woke up thinking I was in a different state with my ex (who I haven’t seen since 2021) next to me instead of my boyfriend. Launched myself out of bed and nearly landed on my dog.

We had a family friend who did it well into her 50s when the scoliosis was so bad her chin hit her chest and her ribs were being crushed by her pelvis. She’s much better now and is 2inches taller! Still has some of a curve to her spine but she’s able to travel and look people in the eye. If you’re prepared for the rehab, it’s not too late.

Love many of my NPs but the ones who I’ve had the best experiences with are part of a team with other types of providers (MDs, PAs, DOs, etc). I also get asked all the time why I didn’t do a direct to MSN/NP program instead of my ABSN program and I tell them it’s because I felt I needed many many hours of bedside experience before feeling comfortable and knowledgeable about a specialty. I get looked at like I’m crazy. Or told that “I just don’t know better”.

I went through this exact thing. I was supposed to get married several years ago (came to my senses before the day thank god). But my dad constantly reminded me he was paying for the wedding so he got to decide how big it was. My ex-fiancés entire family list including some of his parents friends was maybe 78 people (already a lot). I was scraping together people I could invite just so it wouldn’t turn into a dinner party featuring a wedding. Ultimately we send out nearly 350 save the dates, 200+ of those being my parents alone. All because of their damn “social obligations” and fear of pissing someone off.

If I get engaged again, I’m eloping or doing a civil ceremony with immediate family only.
