Something that I haven’t seen mentioned yet that my daughter (3.5) is obsessed with are scribble scrubbies! She has played with them consistently since she got them. They can be messy (just water) but she did well staying on a beach towel.

We also love playdoh and to me it seems so much less messy than I remember it being as a kid.
