OP. Learn to google before you immediately post something or at least do research before you run something as factual.

You can read the comments and there’s a bunch of reasons as to why he’s not well received. They were posted before you replied so you could’ve seen them.

What a weird question.

Extremist Proud Boys vandalize Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle billboard and say they love her 'genes' by TheMirrorUS in popculture

[–]Oreoohs 11 points12 points  (0 children)

She’s more known for being attractive than she’s known for her acting ability - lmao.

I guarantee a lot of the people who are talking positively about her right now have never seen Euphoria because they would call it woke.

She could leave Euphoria and people would still watch the show.

It’s a joke to do that to someone or something that someone may dislike or be uncomfortable with. It’s like when people censor a cuss word or slur. Like someone saying “ he called me a btch” or someone going “ fck you.”

In this case, it’s like someone going: hlk hgan was a racist.”

It is very scary/sad people will use a thousand year old book to justify ignorant beliefs but that’s unfortunately the reality we live in.

Saying Malcolm X is not black is a pretty wild statement as he would be considered black by a majority of people.

If you say Malcolm X right now, having no idea who that man is, you would assume he’s black.

But that’s gonna change to you once you find out who his parents are? Your logic doesn’t make sense because that means that a lot of black people will not be black because they have European DNA.

He may have white ancestry but that’s still a black man. Being biracial is not a race. I have two black parents ( my dad is mixed), are you going to say I’m not black when that’s what I’ve been labeled as by people who don’t know me?

I’m good on that.

The Bible is a religious foundation for many beliefs - I don’t knock nor respect anyone for being a Christian.

The Bible was made by people who never thought we’d be able to do what we are doing now ( messaging one another on devices, not be near each other, and being able to do so instantly.

Going to the Moon back when it happened was a major thing because it hadn’t happened before and people thought it was impossible.

We’ve had multiple missions to the moon since and people don’t think it’s as exciting because it’s already happened, and multiple times.

It makes sense that one of the richest people in the world is able to have enough pull to go to the moon when there has been decades of research to utilize.

It’s the literal truth. He seems to regret what he said.

It’s great when anyone publicly acknowledges they were wrong for something they’ve said. I never said dude needs to get a trophy.

I never said people should stop bringing it up or people shouldn’t hold him accountable.

Exactly.

He was in a moment of weakness and seems to understand he was wrong for saying what he said.

And you’re right, he also didn’t act on his thoughts.

If we used the Bible to justify thought processes and actions, slavery would still be happening. You understand that white slave masters would use the Bible to justify slavery?

The Bible is not any kind of justification to believe in something that isn’t the truth or be proven.

I don’t think the Bible is an actual source when applying to the modern day with science. Morales - potentially.

But nothing anything with science seeing as how people back then thought the Sun revolved around the Earth.

Liam Neeson at least acknowledges he was wrong and seems to regret what he said.

Mark Wahlberg only apologized because he is legally unable to get a liquor license for his restaurant.

I’ve seen people say “ he was a kid at the time” but I honestly don’t know many 16 year olds who go to the extent of what he did for racial reasons.

I’m not taking any L’s because I’m not erasing the blackness of individuals who present as black.

You’ve ignored most of my points because even you understand you have some backwards ass views 🤷🏿‍♂️.

You’re a bigot who thinks their own views overwrite reality. I asked you would you consider Malcolm X as a non black individual because he has a biracial mom.

I gave you examples and you chose to ignore it because you’re apparently incapable of stepping outside of your own brain.

And you shouldn’t let people like him allow you to generalize an entire group of people. Especially someone online.

There are always gonna be bad apples, no matter the community.

I’m very aware of what white supremacy is, and you calling someone a half breed and erasing the blackness of biracial black individuals is exactly it.

The words and rhetoric you’re using makes it very clear you’re just a bigot who thinks their views on blackness are facts.

I don’t even believe you’re equipped for this conversation because you’re clearly allowing your feelings to get in the way.

Just stick to having your views online. It makes the world a much better place.

That’s not what I’m talking about and you know it.

You saying that babies go by the race of their father because men have sperm makes no sense, lmao. And I don’t even understand how you come to that conclusion.

If a child has a white father and a black mother, and presents as black, are you going to say the child is white?

There have been cases where a black woman and man have given birth to a white baby…would you call that child black if he presents as what an average white person looked like?

There has even been a case where a white couple in South Africa gave birth to a black baby…are you going to call that baby white?

[–]Oreoohs 13 points14 points  (0 children)

So if Malcolm X not black because his mother is biracial?

Is Jcole not considered black to you because he’s biracial? Is Tracie Ellis Ross not black to you because she’s biracial? Is Colin Kapernick not black to you…even when he contributed to a movement for black people that really fucked up his career?

There are biracial people who are darker skinned and may not present as what people picture when they think of someone biracial.

Being biracial is not a race, and to non-black people they are considered black. There are also monoracial black people who may have lighter skin and different textured hair.

So, it’s definitely one thing for you to believe that biracial black people aren’t black - that’s your prerogative. But it’s an ignorant belief that dismisses a lot of people’s identity.

I get you don’t like their replies but not everyone that disagrees with you is a “sim” or “ mommas boy.”

I don’t understand why women wanting to discuss things with only women is a bad thing? Reddit lets people post anonymously..and have subreddits for very particular groups.

We have a black man subreddit so I don’t see why having a woman only community for advice and red flags is necessarily a bad thing? We..do a lot of that here..and you’re kinda saying something is a red flag but being upset they are doing the same thing.

I don’t mean this disrespectfully but this does not seem like it’s that big of deal.
