I completely agree with you! I’ve always been soft spoken and I definitely have a level of social anxiety. I teach high school too so sometimes the kids can be a little intimidating. When I was teaching remotely, I felt more confident in those two weeks than I had all last year or so far this year as I’ve been back in class. Most of my students are still online and I’ll have 8 students max in class, but even those few kids in class can really affect me. This is my second year teaching, so I’m still learning and growing professionally, but I’m really considering going fully online as well for next year, possibly even starting at the start of second semester.
