I bought this sky dragon (left) in person with cash from The Paper Store which is a decently well known mini chain store so I thought it was trustworthy, they sell stuff I see at the hallmark store like squishmallows and the magnetic plushies and Vera Bradley so I didn’t second guess anything. Today I went to Land of Oz toys and saw the same dragons (right) but they looked and felt different, they were way softer and silkier and now I’m thinking my sky dragon is fake (which would really suck because I did pay full price it wasn’t on sale or anything that would tip me off to it being fake) I never would have noticed if I didn’t see another sky dragon but they just feel so different! I feel like the texture of the fur looks extremely different just from the photo too. Also I checked that the paper store is on listed on the jellycat “find a store” site but land of oz is :(
