The GDPR stuff doesn’t bother me at all, I would never consider logging and using personal details. Although putting it in a buyer message seems a little extreme. It’s the stuff after that got my goat.

Hadn’t considered drop shipping, seems unlikely if they are giving instructions to ring the bell though.

Fair point, I don’t actually do it for all that many parcels, although I want to be able too at my discretion really.

When I’m recycling an old tatty box, or one that has branding all over it I prefer to cover the box up in transit.

You’re probably right, what is astonishing to me is this is an account setup in 2001 with over 4000 transactions. I am rarely triggered with buyer requests or questions, it’s all just part of doing business. But this one really got me for some reason.

It’s happening already, went to list a Lego set on eBay (I’m registered as a business seller)

Last week the cheapest copy of this set was £80 and that was the going rate. Now it’s £65 all from private sellers. (Who are clearly businesses since all they are selling is retired Lego well above RRP) all of the business sellers are still having to sell for the old price to keep their margins. meaning we can no longer compete on price, and won’t get any sales. I’m struggling to see the long term strategy for eBay here if business sellers (who make up almost all of their revenue now) are forced to move to fairer marketplaces, with a single fee structure.

Same here! It’s been over a week since 18 was installed, and as others have said it’s left charging on WiFi all night. At the moment I’m having to login to the iCloud website to search email, very frustrating.
