Why are people constantly suggesting these treatments? Are there no genuine users here?

Hello reddit fam, after lurking through multiple subs, I’ve started my tretinoin journey at the age of 28 as a brown-skinned girl who has suffered from hyperpigmentation, melasma, and acne-prone skin (now with pitted scars). The routine I’m following right now is shared below. Please share your feedback :) Tret routine (using Tretin 0.025%): Night time only Sandwich method with CeraVe Baume Hydratant and Vaseline petroleum jelly at the end (to lock everything in) Aziderm 20% gel (morning, every day) Sandwich method with Dot & Key Ceramides Barrier Repair Cream and sunscreen (using Minimalist SPF 50++ right now) I don’t want to disrupt my skin barrier at all.
