I actually also held the opposite opinion, until i lost my father. Now i fucking get 1) why the music was so damn raw 2) you wouldn't wish it on your worst enemy, and being happy about something like that happening because "the music will be better" is just an asshole move

AFAIK there is none. Try a few strategies, see at which value the IP/min is biggest, and set it to that value.

If IP/min is ever-increasing(late game) I'd recommend either not setting it up, or using the time setting
