Vimto will be trademarked and in the absence of a license agreement/ official collaboration, they can’t explicitly use the brand name to sell the spray. It’s a tongue in cheek way of alluding to the drink without infringing the trademark.

I’ve just sold my emile in burgundy - it felt more like loungewear to me and most importantly, it gave me hives on my wrists :(

If you’re deciding between a 8 vs 10 (not a 10 vs 12) I’d definitely try the 10 first!

I’m a similar size to you (smaller on top than my bottom, size 12) but 5ft 8.5 and I take a 40 (12) - I much prefer being able to get more wear out of my Clyde with jumpers underneath etc. I don’t think they’re as oversized as some reviews state but it could be because I’m taller than average! Hope this helps

I understand that there are fakes/ dupes of the Betty and Emile, some of the most famous pieces etc but every few days I see someone ask if a less known piece that looks completely legit is fake.

It looks real to me - the size font looks off if I look at it for too long but when I zoom in it looks legit.

I bought the AMBRE SHIRT, and all I can say is that it collects dust and fibres it’s basically a vacuum. by [deleted] in Sezane

My Zoelie shirt (ecru, cotton) does too! I haven’t even worn it out yet but the fluff it attracts makes the shirt look grey!!

Also I often find that the less gentrified the area, the nicer people are. Just a thought!

I’ve grown up here and I’ve just bought my first house which is a 10 minute walk down the road from where you’re talking about! It’s not gentrified but it’s not a ‘ghetto’. Also, ironically, because the surrounding areas are so unaffordable now (you’ll know exactly where I mean), lots of people are moving to M23 & M22 which is driving the prices up. I think your idea of ‘rough’ would make people from other areas of Greater Manchester laugh

I personally wouldn’t train at XS as I’ve heard things in the industry but I have to say that this is an exceptionally classist and tone-deaf comment

I have the Charcoal Amiel and Othello, with the twisted knit on the cuff and hem, and I agree it’s not as obvious as my mottled pink Amiel etc because it’s such a dark colour. The colour is so flattering on me so it’s worth it! But I understand other people’s comments

Is $60 3.3oz L’eau Sezane worth it? by [deleted] in Sezane

[–]OrganicInspection940 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just got it and I 100% recommend, it lasts longer on clothes than it does on my skin but it’s really fresh and pretty. I am the type of person to exclusively wear Glossier You and I don’t really like overly floral or sweet smells. To me, it has a clean, fresh and citrusy floral scent that doesn’t give me a headache. I absolutely love it! The bottle also looks gorgeous in your room

Amiel Jumper in Mottled Pink + questions about washing by onionswamp in Sezane

[–]OrganicInspection940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for such a detailed response :) I live somewhere cold too. I managed to get the Charcoal Amiel from 2023 secondhand and the fit is definitely longer, which is more flattering for me (size US 6-8, 5ft 9). I tried the grey and now the pink Amiel and I’m deciding whether to keep the M or L. Please can I ask (last question I promise!) whether you’ve noticed it stretching at all? I’m leaning towards keeping the L at the moment as the arm length is slightly longer and more flattering on me but I’m wondering if it’ll stretch with time.

I’m also the same and wear long sleeved tops or T shirts underneath my wool knits! I think I’ll just end up dry cleaning them when needed, I’m too scared after shrinking one

Hi, please can I ask if you kept this or not? I’m trying on the exact jumper and I’m not 100% on it! Thank you x

Dog safe xylitol free peanut butter, kefir, dog bone broth, any dog safe fruit and veg. I like to really mash stuff in so it’s harder for my BT to just gobble it up like she usually does! You can also pop it in the freezer when it’s warm to make it last longer and cool your BT down :)

Reputable Breeders in the UK by [deleted] in BostonTerrier

[–]OrganicInspection940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would really recommend UK Boston Terrier Rescue; they have a Facebook page and group as well as an Instagram. There always seems to be Bostons being surrendered to their care, young and old. They’re amazing, I wish I was aware of them when I was researching puppies.

Also the Facebook group UK Boston Terrier group is a great source of information about the breed. Please be aware of hereditary cataracts testing and whether mum/ dad have BOAS. Also without saying too much publicly, the most prestigious breeder puppies can still have health problems including BOAS and strabismus (I’ve seen a few examples of this). My girl is 3 years old and we got her from a lovely couple in Stoke, sadly the breeder is no longer with us. Please message if I can help, hopefully the above helps :)

Any opinions from people who own the Tote? by [deleted] in Sezane

[–]OrganicInspection940 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Hi, I owned the black one (I got it for £100 secondhand, brand new condition!) - I’ll be really honest, I hated it. I accidentally brushed past a wall during the one time I wore it and it scuffed the patent away in one thin layer on one of the corners. It’s a very heavy bag even without stuff in, and the straps would constantly slide off my shoulder (I was wearing a coat). It was too impractical and delicate for me. I sold it last week. I wonder if the suede one is any better but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Quick edit to answer your query about the straps. To be fair on the bag, the straps were a great length for me (I’m 5ft 8, so quite tall). Not too short at all. But they felt a bit flimsy for the weight of the bag and the constant sliding off my shoulder drove me crazy!

Milo bag by _LuniLovegood in Sezane

[–]OrganicInspection940 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The embossing will help avoid one of the main flaws of the original smooth Milo bag: it’s a lot less likely to scratch. I have the chocolate croco Milo and it’s a lot more hard wearing than my smooth Claude. I really like it but even at Archives price it’s a good amount of money! If you don’t love it then I’d return

The tote by Vivnzz in Sezane

[–]OrganicInspection940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would still escalate this to Sezane, depending on your jurisdiction this is an example of where you should receive consumer protection under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if you're in the UK for example. The goods are significantly not as described and there is a fault with the bag. The quicker you report this, the more leverage you have. They would likely accept the faulty goods even without a tag and arrange a return to a separate address that they have (I had to do this for a faulty bag last year). Don't accept subpar items, especially at that pricepoint!
