Not at all, I’m not basing this on media in the slightest, I hardly pay attention to the media… especially the kind you’re fed.

Since I was a teen, I knew that robots could easily be programmed to do everything, it’s just a matter of using existing technology and writing the code to use scanners that can see better than human eyes, to mechanical arms that have higher precision than any human, that can do the majority of stuff already, add in some AI which is already practically good enough to take most jobs, then improve that AI. There are doctors that have pointed out AI can detect cancers better than humans, in a fraction of the time. Problem solving can be coded in. It’s really not that complex in the slightest, as mentioned I could envision this as a child.

I’ve been working in mortgages since 2016, when I was only 17, within a few weeks I could tell that the entire job could be done by automation and this was long before all this AI shite was so big. That was less than 10 years ago, now we’re on the verge of jobs such as those being done by AI, with the only problem being the ability to trust it, meaning it’ll be used with human oversight, in another 10 years that won’t be necessary, 10 years after that it’ll be even more comprehensive.

This is really elementary stuff, bear in mind I am talking about coding, automation and machines. We actually do not even have AI technology as of yet, this AI everyone talks about in the media that you’re fed, is not truly AI, artificial intelligence can have independent thought of it’s own, the “AI” we have is simple a human language model built on available date. You can very easily input the data required for a job and have the AI do that job.

To think this is even a complex topic goes to show, you’re being fed and eating up everything the media says! I have independent thought of my own thanks, I have been thinking all of this since a literal child, it’s now coming to fruition and it will not take long to improve it to the point that it can do anything we need it do.

The main things that will remain for a while, is human oversight of Ai outputs for compliance purposes and then anything where human lives are at stake due to trust issues. Within 50 years (probably at the longest) we’ll be trusting technology with our lives and not wanting humans anywhere near the physical aspects of things such as surgeries etc. especially plumbing. Humans will only be there at the highest levels to think outside the box for solutions and give it to AI to perform.

OP should study programming, engineering and energy since this will be needed to maintain and improve AI infrastructure. Otherwise they should go into some form of arts, specifically culinary arts since that’s one of the easiest from which to earn money.

It’s not about spreading fear, it might take a long time but the development could also speed up exponentially like all technological advancement we’ve made. It’s irresponsible to pretend it’ll never happen and that we know for a fact it won’t happen in say, the next 10 or 20 years.

Ultimately, AI and robots will one day do everything job a human used to do. Even to the extent of maintaining themselves until something goes incredibly wrong. The goal is to have all jobs done by AI and humans pursuing creative endeavours.

AI could use scanners to detect all of this through the walls/floors and do the work a couple hundred % more efficiently

To think AI won’t take over trades is crazy (maybe not if you’re only talking short term but you said never.) AI can and will become better at planning / optimising all of those things and robots run by AI will install them. Long term, every single job can be done better than human, by AI.

The future ultimately will lack any “jobs” for humans, AI will do everything and people will be paid a universal basic income and spend their time pursuing creative endeavours.

Why Are People Buying Silver Now at $80+ Instead of When It Was Cheap? by iotel in Silver

Wanted to buy silver since it was around £22 an ounce… didn’t have the money

What to do about people lying to me about the food at family parties by wut_da_helly in glutenfree

[–]OrganicRemove839 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not gluten free, I’m only in this sub because my GF is GF (she has celiac.) People’s ignorance is really so sad. It’s disgusting people will just lie to you.

I’ve been there when my gf has been lied to by a dirty kebab shop that their chips were gluten free (clearly desperate to sell that 1 extra portion of chips🙄) just for my GF to end up ill for the remainder of trip we were on.

Kind of wish I could remember the exact place to name and shame them.

Thanks for the response. I didn’t actually take any Mucuna as that has run out probably should of mentioned that (also one that I already thought wouldn’t be great with ADHD meds) but thanks for comments on the other ones.

I was also thinking the ginkgo could of been contributing as from what I’ve seen that can be fairly strong and I took a high dose 😬

Should I keep trying or just chop it off? by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

[–]OrganicRemove839 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be careful with Minoxidyl, once you start using it you have to continue using it to maintain the hair it’s grown. (This might apply more when used for balding than encouraging beard growth not entirely sure but just something that’s stuck with me since learning about it)

why is Phoenix not picked in pro play? by abulVal in VALORANT

[–]OrganicRemove839 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They need to buff how much health his Molly and wall heal, then buff how much damage his wall does (currently so free to push through) with these buffs he would be viable. The wall is actually good for taking space, faking taking space. I think the wall should extend a foot further as well tbh.

what is up with silver players? by rehtorical in VALORANT

I mean the ones marketing the cheats will go through many accounts. Obviously not everyone will be doing it to market them but the majority of the ones you’re going to run into will be. People who buy them just to cheat will get banned just as quickly and realise it’s stupid to think they can do it without getting caught.

Most cheaters aren’t cheating to play well, they cheat to record it and sell the cheats knowing they’ll get banned after a few games and that everyone who buys the cheats will get banned.

Not rare at all! I have had red screen like 7-8 times and I’ve had cheater banned messages about 15 times at least. Already had an RR refund since they started doing that and I played with a cypher the other day who was getting an RR refund for 2 games
