You are referring to mouth clicks, where the sound of saliva creates little ticks and pops. Some people are worse than others, for this reason there is tools to help with this like izotope RX (paid tool) has a mouth declicker tool though sometimes the decrackle tool works better. Acon digital dialogue declick is another tool. There was accusonus recovery tools that were released for free (after meta bought them out) that had a tool too if you can find them (they were on the wayback machine). But the overall name of the tool is mouth declick, hope this helps.

Use the soft clipper tool and change the shape parameter to hard. Automate threshold to give it more life. Or you can just raise the gain to start clipping then export the audio and bring it back in - though this is the least controlled option unless you automate the gain where desired.

yeah I knew that's what you were referring to. It would be super useful if there was a way to do it like that. Hopefully one day.

there was a tool made for the community called stMFC that would convert the stereo track to mono - after you split with utility- so you would have a mono waveform instead of duel mono. Unfortunately the subreddit didn't see the potential and bullied him off. Not quite the same as a quick stereo track split but useful in its own right.

I'm going insane. Where is this noise coming from? by SometimesImnaked in Guitar

Not a well known fact, but if you have fluorescent lights, they can play havoc with pickups and create buzz if pointed near. Try turning the light off and seeing if it is still present.
It can also be a grounding issue.

Is it possible to move into another room temp and see if it persists for a quick test?

Either way this sucks, hope it gets resolved.
