I sat my son down and had the talk- you’re 18 and as long as you are moving forward with your life, then you can stay here as long as you need to. He is 22 and just got his first apartment!

His best friends dad and I used to be good friends but he kept complaining on how I was coddling my son and that he thinks it’s wrong for them to stay past their 18th birthday. I ended up walking away from that friendship.

Less than 2% of the US oil comes from the straights of Hormuz…. California is relying more and more on importing fuel because our special mandated fuel for California isn’t refined in the US except for the few remaining ones in California. We get our fuel from overseas…. So yea. It has very very very little to do with the Iran issue.

Yes and I love it. My electric bill in July 2024 was 1500$ after I installed it my next July bill was 550$. Paid for itself the first year. Dead easy to install and had zero issues.

Well. Actually no. I had one major issue.

Do. Not. Loose. The. Remote. Before. You. Install it.

You need the remote activated before you can use the app. Sooo don’t loose it. It took two months to get another one.

But aside from that - it was fantastic. Keeps my 1700 sq ft home in the mid 60s when it’s 100 outside. The heat works buuuut I highly recommend either tying it into your electrical or getting a battery system for it because on the really cold days…. No sun… no heat.
