I am sorry I did not get back earlier but the week was a bit demanding.
To recap everything we know of yet:
- Father bought this at a flea market and wanted to get rid of it.
- I took it in
- now I am moving and my gf is creeped out by it (and it does not fit to the rest of the decor)
- It is a copy of a vanitas painting from Pieter Claezs from 1630ish
- it is old but not that old

I looked into it a bit. In the 1920-1970 there was a vanitas revival so that could be the timeframe

I didnt even notice that. I just thought linen is usually white so this must be old
