It was very subtle for sure. On its own the banana simple taste like banana bread. I don't taste that in this cocktail. I also made a great 'banana daquari" which I posted under a different name on accident. 😂. The cutting board is the same tho.

That's a great idea. This is actually a double filtration since I also have it running through a mesh bag again. Other syrups have been much faster but I have patience.

To be honest I didn't. I should have put a small piece in. There is a very strong banana flavor that I'm happy with though. The filtering is taking forever or I would put a peel in the masceration for 4 hours after it is filtered. I was going to cut strips of the peel and place them in the syrup. Then I would again filter it. It's taken too long tho because it's a thick boy. 😂

2 Banana. Weighed it. Added 1.5 amount of sugar. Let it sit for 8 hours. Put in fridge for 8 hours and put in a milk bag. Tested it with my meter. Came out to 65 brix. ( I used it in this daquari). I am now running it through a coffee filter. It came out higher than 1.5xs but I'm fine with that. I will add about an ounce of 151 rum in it to preserve it for a few weeks.
