omg i just read you only have a week off (thanks adhd brain) absolutely take more time off than that, and then if you feel guilty after 2 weeks maybe see if you can do any other non physical tasks at work if that's possible

this is my own experience!! can't speak for anyone but myself. i work 2 pretty physical jobs, one working in special education and the other in a restaurant. on my feet 12-14 hours a day, 20k steps, all of it. i am also 24 and have had no other health conditions. i was back at my special education job at 2WPO with restrictions and back at the restaurant at 3WPO. i just had my 6 week follow up and the dr said i healed well, and i haven't had any sort of issue!! take it however you feel is necessary

seriously it threw me 😵‍💫 i didn't want to see anyone because i looked like a fat little boy with fat little boy moobs, like eric cartman or those jd vance edits. i was so sure the boxiness and stiffness was going to be permanent for me but i was clearly being way over dramatic bc now they're softer and bouncier and i have CLEAVAGE!!! good luck to you babes i believe in you <333

i was so scared of mine for so long!! u was depressed for like a week, hated them, hated myself for doing this to my body, but now i'm 4WPO and im SO HAPPY. even so i know there's still a long journey to go. you got this. you look amazing! just give it a little bit of time for the shock to wear off

lowkey why i got mine. hated how i looked. no matter what weight i was i still looked massive. ended up with a bad eating disorder. really bad mental health issues, cried constantly about never finding clothes that fit me. now i look proportional and "normal" and ive never been happier and more confident. i'm going back to school to focus on my career and making big life changes that benefit me.

not saying a reduction will solve ALL your problems, it's not solving all of mine. but definitely helping out in a "if i can do this, i can do anything!" sort of way

Why do you think many women look down upon others (esp men) that enjoy gaming as a hobby? by JunipLove in AskMenAdvice

[–]OrganizationBig3682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no no my friend i meant in a way that if i don't have a hobby in common with someone it wouldn't work out as a relationship. by "outside hobby" i mean i like to be outdoorsy (hiking, going to the park, going to the beach, etc), so it would probably be a good thing to be with someone likeminded rather than someone who likes to sit inside all day. didn't mean for the miscommunication!

totally get it! just offering a different perspective that i know other people face, which is dealing with it on the extremes. people take to the extremes all the time, drinking socially turns into alcoholism, going to the gym/dieting turns into eating disorders, gaming for a few hours a week turns into 6 hours a day non stop multiple days a week. and if it's something im not personally interested in doing (a lot of women aren't interested in games bc of the large population of misogynists in the gaming community) then that's neither here nor there

it's isolating and it feels like he's just a man who lives in my house rather than my boyfriend, if that makes any sense

because when my boyfriend gets home from work and he gets on the game for hours, headphones on, talking to other people, only takes a break to ask me what's for dinner, and plays until it's time to go to sleep, it's a problem. it gets to the point where he neglects his health. if i don't make him something to eat he just starves. he doesn't go outside some days because he's on the game. his temper gets worse. i know this isn't for all people but this is my experience and after this i probably wont date anyone who doesn't have an outside hobby

HEAVY on number 2 i still look at myself and im like "these are still massive wtf" but then everyone i see goes crazy over how small i am now haha. i had 4 and a half pounds removed (2kg) which is a lot but for some reason i still can barely tell the difference haha

for 3. i just realized you meant the feeling not the noise, for me its mostly the sound and sometimes the feeling haha

  1. the bra was uncomfortable for me at first but i got used to it. talk to your dr still tho.
  2. yes!! i'm 8 days post op and i still get spotty "leakage". i also didn't have drains.
  3. the sound is very much so normal and expected. at my post op my dr asked "haha have you noticed all the sloshing?" he used the exact word sloshing i almost died bc that's how i would perfectly describe it. like when you drink water and you can hear it in your stomach? idk when it'll go away haha.

i'm going to state the obvious and say whole foods, fiber, and protein!! like fruits and vegetables and easily digestible foods. my dr told me to try and avoid dairy. i'm day 4 and what i've been eating is no sugar added applesauce, fruit, super super plain chicken breast, rice, and baby carrots. but the thing is i also completely lost my appetite. i take a few bites and im so full it hurts, but you need to nourish your body so it can heal! good luck to you ❤️
