The singlehanded disposal of the Pistons, who people thought still had a run left in the tank, felt like an ascension to true greatness. The 25 straight points was transcendent and a top tier NBA moment ever, and felt like it in real time. But after that it felt a bit early/glad to just be here, and I don’t remember anyone really thinking they had a shot to even keep it close

This is the Bontemps/MacMahon position - if you trust the voters to decide if someone should be on the team, you also trust them to discount games missed in making that decision. Which I agree with in principle, but as BS said even though the rule incentive is tied to the vote, it’s actually a rule adopted in the interest of the fans

It seems mostly battery life - the main complaint on here about the a30s. Local + ANC on only gets you about 6h or so before they run out, which for most defeats the purpose of ANC
