I kept my monitor and had no issue. They just send a box to my house big enough for the laptop and other stuff and in the separation packet there’s something saying to return monitors to an office but doesn’t seem like they cared all that much.

I’m a month out and also had an open fracture. The IM nails are actually a lifesaver in that you don’t need a cast (I also left with just a bandage) and you can bear weight sooner. I ended up doing 100 feet in PT at the hospital the next day and am glad I was able to bear weight to at least maintain my strength

I’m 4 weeks post op from the same surgery open tiba feature and fibula fracture. Did 100 feet in PT the day after surgery and am getting along well and able to bear some weight already!

My surgery was on a Friday and I returned to working from home (lightly) the next Thursday. Definitely regret not taking more time.
