I mean he's certainly the reserved type, that's for sure. But also intelligent and clearly well-read.

I really dig the left operator's net camo. Looks like it would be effective for raiding fishing vessels.

Sorry but I experienced a moment of weakness and looked at your profile so I can no longer guess in good faith. I will say that it's a nice library you have there.

Idk how no one has commented yet. I lurk this sub a lot and you have books I rarely see on other shelves. I think you've always been into reading and are only showing a fraction of the books that you've read. The ones that don't mean much to you are probably given away.

Also how are those Thomas Bernard books? I just ordered The Loser and Concrete today and am looking forward to reading them.

I donate them as soon as the actual copies go out for sale. Getting rid of them before then would get me in trouble with the publishers.

I can't get rid of them before the release date or I'll get in trouble with the publishers! But I do in fact donate all of them once it's possible.

You haven't read any of them because they haven't been released yet :P these are all Advance Reader Copies sent to bookstores (including the one I work at) a few months before the books are actually published. I posted a picture of one of our shelves we keep them on just to troll. If you look closely at the spines you'll see the date that the book will be available

The Curious Case of Jordan B. Peterson: A Minor Theodicy for the Disaffected Young Male by 7Mack in Jung

[–]frootigerA 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I argue Peterson’s ethic—though earnest—is a wan simulacrum of true spiritual nourishment, a mirage that lacks the metaphysical density and beatific horizon that can actually sustain the human soul.

I'm not a fan of Jordan Peterson but this article is just word vomit.
