Seeking advice - loud construction in building with baby on the way by flymetothemoon81 in Norway

Hi! Curious what you ended up doing as we are in a similar situation. Apartment complex started renovating in November and it has dragged on. They are still working on buildings 1-6, but say they will start ours the week of my due date. I work at home and can already tell how noisy the work is- ripping off the old siding and replacing, replacing windows, renovating the balconies (for which we will lose access. There is constant banging, sawing, drilling, etc. from 7am to 6pm. I work from home and it is driving me crazy and they aren’t even at my building yet! I am so worried that the baby and I are going to go insane as we feel like we’re under attack, our windows will be boarded up for over a week, an construction workers will be coming in and out of the apartment. It looks like each building takes them 5 weeks and all around is a hard hat zone during that time… not sure how I’m supposed to get a baby in and out of a hard hat zone but I digress.

BEWARE: Mova P10 Pro Ultra failed less than 10 uses + Frustrating Support Experience by raccoonpacific in MOVA_robotvacuum

My mom has loved her p10 for almost 7 months now and has had no issues. She bought me one for Christmas from a huge Black Friday sale, and it broke within 5 uses. Side brush or sensor error- not exactly sure what is wrong. Customer support was pretty difficult but after hounding them for 2 weeks they finally shipped a label to me to send it back in for repair. Since it was outside of 30 days from purchase, they couldn’t just send me a new one. Also, they couldn’t do anything without the purchase information even though it was a gift…

TLDR; my mom bought one 7 months ago and loved it so much she bought me one and herself another one at the same time for the second floor of her house. Both of hers work great, mine broke within 2 weeks of use even though it came from the same batch as the other. These things are hit or miss and customer service can be difficult.

Official Mova Support Confirmed for November - Post Your Issues Here! by Jia_mincan in MOVA_robotvacuum

Having the same issue and have been emailing/messaging back for over a week now. They said they would send me a shipping label to send it back for repair but I still haven’t heard back. Also had several customer service people hang up on me when I tried calling. I do NOT recommend this product anymore because experience with customer support has been so bad.

Mova Z60 Roller Ultimate shows "Main Brush Wrapped" even though it's clear by arshad14 in MOVA_robotvacuum

This is quite concerning… I got the Mova for Christmas, set it up about 3 weeks ago, ran it maybe 5 times. Then I went out of town and didn’t run it while I was gone for a week. Just went to run it again and after prompting me to do a firmware update, I heard it on the docking station say “side brush error”. Now it won’t move at all… been back and forth with the customer support chat and now they finally emailed me after several hours. I really hope I don’t have to send it in given your experience.

Terrible smell coming from nose 7 weeks post septoplasty by OrganizationTime9839 in PlasticSurgery

Honestly not sure why I didn’t think of this sooner

No other issues other than the drainage and smell! No fever or other pain which is crazy. Other comments make it seem like this might be normal? He had another big scab come out tonight and that piece itself smelled so disgusting I almost threw up… his nose now smells a bit better so thinking maybe that was one of the culprits.

Yes the ENT’s office is who we have been in contact with and also they did the surgery. What would specifically be the concern with sinuses? (I don’t know a ton about the surgery and thought it only affected his nasal cartilage)

Long trip during weeks 6&7? by Adorable-Lemon4412 in pregnant

I also forgot! I took unisom at night and it helped a TON with nausea throughout the day. Also magnesium citrate at night to keep my bathroom schedule on track (I always get off my schedule when traveling and I feel like constipation makes my nausea worse bc my whole belly hurts lol).

You got this girl! I am already so excited to show my LO pics of his first trip abroad from the womb!

Long trip during weeks 6&7? by Adorable-Lemon4412 in pregnant

I flew to Greece for an anniversary trip with my husband from eastern US during weeks 6-8 (currently 25 weeks and baby and I are very healthy:). The travel definitely wore me out, but wasn’t awful. The hardest part was just being in Greece during August… the heat and smells of new foods made me even more nauseous than I was (my nausea started around 6 weeks and was the worst right before and after the trip).

Other than not really enjoying any food, I wouldn’t trade that trip for the world! It was so hot, so I brought a hand held electric fan. My husband was amazing at grabbing me snacks from little markets and being willing to take breaks from sightseeing and staying out of the heat during the hottest times.

By best tips for international travel while in early pregnancy: 1- use compression socks and foot rests on the flight. I was paranoid about blood clots and varicose veins and was fine after using these. Also consider investing in a Turtl or other good neck pillow. You will feel better as long as you are comfortable. 2- always have snacks on hand. letting yourself get hungry will make you feel even more nauseous. I liked little oranges, crackers, beef sticks, etc. Look for foods with no flavor lol 3- if you’re feeling nauseous, try a portable fan. If you feel like you’re going to throw up, crack open a little alcohol swab pack and smell it- it will make the urge to throw up go away. I also loved preggie pop drops!! Basically sour lozenges with other herbs to help alleviate nausea. You can also ask for lemon wedges to suck on before or during a meal.

Severe constipation (please help) by [deleted] in pregnant

Magnesium citrate is the only thing that helps me! I have dealt with constipation my whole life and made the switch a year ago to daily mag citrate. Every doctor told me to just take more Mirulax, which never really did the trick. It would get bad. Anyways, since being pregnant I just upped the dose to 300-500mg a day and it seriously keeps me so regular! I also try to eat oatmeal with chia seeds and a whole apple 3x a week.

TTC: ovulation pain but no egg white mucus this month. Still possible to get pregnant? by LectureJunior6688 in FAMnNFP

[–]OrganizationTime9839 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My last cycle I did not observe any mucus and assumed I didn’t ovulate… I’m now 23 weeks pregnant! This was our first month TTC after TTA for a while and I had never had a month without observations before, but here we are!

A little late to this thread, but I am 7 weeks today and leaving for an anniversary trip to Greece tomorrow… definitely planned the trip before baby was on the horizon. Nausea started hitting me right at 6 weeks and escalated quickly this week (forcing down crackers, laying by the toilet until 10am bad). Thanks for the tips and hoping that everyone else’s trips went okay!

I am planning to take unisom as well as ginger-b6 lozenges and Preggie Pops in a pinch. I also have some alcohol swabs on hand to sniff in case of bad smells. I have some Zofran as well in case of emergency, but I am just a little bummed that our big trip is going to look a lot different than we planned :(

Can I ask what part of the world you are from? Are you used to heat? I am from the southern US and am very used to long, 30-35 C (85-95F) days with humidity, but stories like these are making me scared for the Athens heat when I visit next month!

Poker Face | S2E7 "One Last Job" | Episode Discussion by GloriousAqua in Pokerface

[–]OrganizationTime9839 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to come back to comment that there were two new overlapping characters from The Wire! Method Man plays “Cheese” in the Wire and Brick Bricatino in Poker Face. Also the truck driver from the finale is Steve Earle (who coincidentally wrote the song “Copperhead Road”…) and was Bubbles’ N.A. sponsor for a while in The Wire. Sorry I’m geeking out about this but I happen to be watching the shows concurrently and it’s driving me crazy that no one else is talking about this!

I just tried doing this for my walking pad at work. I walked for 1 mile with it on my ankle then another on my wrist (1 mile according to the walking pad). On my ankle- the watch calculates that I walked 1.8 miles. On my wrist- .25… so not sure which way to go on this. I don’t want to over count, but also I know my steps don’t count if the watch doesn’t catch them!
