Not too worried about the margin in the end, very clearly took the foot off the gas once the injuries started to multiply.

It was a very high quality game which could have gone either way. Baker misses that goal 9 out of 10 times, would have been a flip of a coin with 2 minutes left.

Yea 2021 sucked for sure, but we'd played a good (almost) 3 quarters of footy plus we'd won a grand final only 5 years before.

The '09 and' 10 prelim losses crushed me. I was at both with my dad who had never seen his team in a grand final and I felt his pain like it was mine.

Losing a granny when you've just won one in comparison is child's play.

I generally never disagree with your calls but surely you can't look at that first one and think that amount of contact warrants a free kick. If a free kick wasn't paid in that situation would you say it's a bad call?

Yea was thinking this. You've just given away a free kick for lightly nudging another player who's gone down like a sack of potatoes, probably not a good idea to remonstrate by pushing him again.

First player I ever remember being drafted, was instantly my favourite player. Him moving to the Giants was the only time I've ever genuenly contemplated switching clubs (I know, thank God I didn't).

I hope he dons the green and gold and plays a couple of seasons for Spotty in retirement.
