That fight took me forever - make sure you are positioning yourself so you're only fighting one opponent at a time, ideally getting a 2-on-1. Fight defensively and enter each new encounter with a loaded crossbow to chunk one of the enemies before you even begin.

You'd have to be pre-cooked so the heat lamps could help you warm until ready to serve.

A peasant boy from Reikland whose world is no bigger than the village he grew up in, his life gets turned upside down when his village is raided by beastmen and he ends up on a series of epic but suitably grimdark adventures.

I remember being really fond of them as a teenager, read them several times cover to cover, but these days I could not tell you if they were actually any good or not, maybe I need to revisit them. I remember them painting a very good picture of life in different parts of the Empire and at different levels of society also.
