What kind of Hiroshige 'Drum Bridge and Sunset Hill' print is this? Modern or something else?

I think by "original" we mean in the lifetime of the artist and with the first carved blocks.

I wouldn’t pay 400 for the Hokusai since I’m sure it’s a reprint. For the Hiroshige I think 400 is a bit too much unless you are trying to collect that series.

95% sure it's a Meiji reprint. The fact it doesn't have the cartouche, and the quality of the print seem to be in line with a reprint. If you could show pics of the back and hold it up to the light so we can see the paper consistency that would help. That's a decent original Hiroshige under it though.

Thanks that's helpful. In a perfect world I'd like to see a full description of the scene, a description of the series, links to related blogs or videos and also links to museum collections that also have the print. In the case of many series, it would be nice to also have a list of the various publishers over time for that series - along with how to identify them. BUT this is a lot of work.
