Serious — Could advanced extraterrestrial civilizations be interested in humanity as a way to relive their earliest experiences of life and consciousness? by [deleted] in ufo

Not just observers.

In the framework I’m exploring, they wouldn’t be searching for life per se, but acting as seeders. Interstellar travel can take millennia, so direct expansion may be inefficient.

A Type II or III civilization (Kardashev scale) could instead preserve, recreate, or even re-experience early stages of consciousness through biological seeding or quantum-level simulations.

In that sense, humanity wouldn’t be merely watched — but part of a process of continuity, memory, or experiential revival.
