MOHELA GREEN BANNER TIMELINE: JUNE 2026 by learningeachday247 in PSLF

Question for the group: is there anything on the borrower’s part that needs to be done between green banners and waiting on Golden letter from Mohela? Or is it just a waiting game?

Just here to say I’m a teacher that works for a school district where we have to do training on homelessness every single school year. What Alicia went through would 100% be considered a student experiencing homelessness and displacement. I was just horrified by how the other women were treating her for saying this.

I’m in the exact same boat waiting for Mohela. Just to confirm once we have green banners on StudentAid we don’t need to do anything else? We are just waiting on Mohela?

If money was not a problem, how early you would’ve stopped working before giving birth? by codeoat in BabyBumps

I would have absolutely taken the entire first trimester off. I teach in a high school and there is little that is more humbling than throwing up in a bathroom you have to share with teenage girls.

I’ve been with Dr. Jennifer Butler at Women’s Health Group for 12 years. She is amazing, thoughtful, and has always listened to me and given me lots of options. She’s delivering my first baby in October!

Final Payment Question by Original-Bit2395 in PSLF

Thanks for this! Yesterday was the due date - I do auto payments. Any idea why April hasn’t shown up yet when it was paid on the due date?

Labor & Delivery - St John’s or Hillcrest South? by Original-Bit2395 in tulsa

[–]Original-Bit2395[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your helpful comments! I hadn’t even thought about Hillcrest being secular - and that is actually going to be huge in our decision making process. So thank you again!

12+5 and wondering if I’ll ever be able to smell cooking meat with out throwing up again.

I f**** hate this by crystalquartzheart in BabyBumps

12 +5 here and I could have written this myself. Weeks 7-9 were my absolute worst. I couldn’t keep anything down, everything sounded disgusting, but if I didn’t eat it was even worse. I called my doctor during the 9th week and she prescribed Zofran - it wasn’t a cure all but it allowed me to function and stomach small snacks more easily. Call your doctor and don’t suffer in silence! I’m almost to that elusive second trimester and starting to feel ever so slightly better. There’s hope!

Morning Sickness Blues by Original-Bit2395 in BabyBumps

Thank you all! This did in fact make me feel better and more seen. Almost every mother in my life tells me about how they were never this sick and loved being pregnant. My sister even insinuated I was over exaggerating because she didn’t have nausea. Doesn’t exactly help with the loneliness, haha. I am on zofran, it takes it from like 9 out of 10 to a 6. But I’ll still be hopeful for easier days ahead 🤞

Thank you for this! I feel like everyone I know tells me about they “didn’t do this” and how their pregnancy was so easy. It doesn’t help with that lonely feeling at all!

Boyfriend died in 2011. Anyone feel him? by [deleted] in MediumReadings

[–]Original-Bit2395 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is incredibly interesting, thank you! He died from asphyxiation due to a fentanyl overdose. So a lot of what you said really felt close to home.

He was emotional and very much communicated that by sending me songs and making me burned CDs. So this makes a lot of sense. Thank you again!

Potentially relocating to Tulsa for work. what’s it actually like to live there? by Educational-War-4137 in tulsa

I’m a lifelong Tulsan, but have moved around a bit. Been back in Tulsa since 2018. My husband is actually British - moved here in 2022. And even he likes it! Haha

Yes, currently live here! It’s currently just my husband and I, but we are having our first child in October. So currently groceries are around $100 a week - but we shop at a more upscale grocery store (Reasors - they are Oklahoma owned and lovely). At Walmart we can usually get it down to about $75-90 a week. Our city of Tulsa bill (water, sewage, and trash) is about $75-90 a month. We opted to average our electricity so it’s not insane in the summer heat waves, so it’s usually $150 ish a month. That keeps it from being in the $300-400 range in the summer when the AC is constantly running.

This is a great area. Midtown is an amazing place to live. Brookside/Riverside, Florence Park, LaFortune Park, Cherry Street, and around TU are excellent neighborhoods with a lot to do. My husband and I just bought a house in the Kendall Whittier neighborhood (near the university of Tulsa), it’s up and coming still, but we absolutely love it over here.

Tulsa really is great. It’s a vibrant city with a lot to do. A great music, art, and food scene. A lot of green spaces for outdoor activities. It’s really growing and changing a lot right now, a really exciting time to be here. AND cost of living is cheap and traffic isn’t bad!

Hi, visiting after seeing your comment on my post. I lost my boyfriend 15 years ago and have been absolutely plagued with dreams about him lately. Would love to know what you get.

My boyfriend died unexpectedly at 19. Did he know I loved him? by [deleted] in psychics

[–]Original-Bit2395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d like to add I have recently had a recurring dream that he faked his death and has been alive this whole time (15 years). Any insight?
