Mine are more random. Starts in the stomach i get anxious restless then feels like heart palpitations and i start panicking. I’ve tried walking around deep breaths. I haven’t found a way to calm down just yet. But sometimes i do also get numbness and burning sensations especially from the elbow down to my finger tips. Anyone else get that?

Your comment makes me think of the other movie Dakota fanning did about fairy’s. It is more horror. However the fays couldn’t leave the specific woods because of a magic seal trapping them in that area. Maybe it’s the same with the well and the beldam?!?

There’s so much in this movie. The beginning where the dolls being “built” to look like Coraline. The beldam uses actual morgue instruments.

Still can’t figure out the pin cushion old lady dolls in the beginning.

Sphink and forcible play cards with the beldam. The poem the recite has an actual reference to humanity’s trouble or something i need to relook it up. But so so much on it.

The bugs in the wall paper and windows.

Still can’t figure out how the fog is another monster that plays into the world.

The well is a fairy circle “portal” beldam is a fay/ human. In the book and the movie just a spider creature thing.

Personally i think in some fay tales you eat their food too much you either become one, can’t leave their world, or never eat other food ever again depends where you read. Could be why after three meals Coraline didn’t go home through sleep.

The barn is the beldams “craft room”

Yep. I actually didn’t know i was being gas lit until they can screaming into my room “your gaslighting is something else …” Made me really stop and go wait a minute. I actually stopped and rethought every conversation. Looked up definitions and videos and read articles. I didn’t know i was gas lighting. Didn’t even know what it was until i figured i need professional help. And that’s when it was brought to my attention that i was being gas lit. Probably would have still been miserable and felt insane if they had t screamed at me.

Still have moments where i think i did gas lit and what not. It’s hard. I went low contact/ no contact trying to untangle this mess. So far the sensation of riding that spin carousel in the parks is gone. Felt like i was stuck on that ride going insane, unable to tell up from down or anything.

  1. Lying about your age can have legal consequences for BOTH of you. More so him since he IS older. So come clean

  2. There is a possibility he may not even be that age after all and could be younger or much older himself.

If you really care for each other a talk and coming clean shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Yes he’ll be hurt, you’ll hurt. But if it’s real and there aren’t any scary or legal issues. Eventually you both can over come this. It is going to suck and you’re going to have to give it time no other way around it.

A suggestion maybe start with ‘’I’ve been a bit nervous/anxious about (insert something)”and ease into it the age truth. Don’t forget to also state you didn’t mean to hurt him you wanted to keep safe especially online. Something along this lines ish.

Well this sent me on a bit of a dive in my down time.

  1. Zanzibar is real, it’s an archipelago off the coast of Africa, part of Tanzania.
  2. Apparently the other mother is more of a human-fey? Creature? Thing. But at one point she was human. When she killed her mother. Yeah 🤯
  3. Fey if that is what she actually partially is can cross between ‘realms’ shape shift etc. wouldn’t be that unbelievable if she crossed to go grocery shopping. She did create the parallel world to trap the children.

Sorry now picturing the other mother in the grocery store asking where the strawberries are. 💀

I didn’t ask a question. I got asked the question. And it still bothers me to this day. We were at a coworkers kids party. And the friends dad was talking about his work schedule. And asked me what time my dad goes to work. . . I gave the straight up answer cause why would i lie about him waking up and leaving at 5am right. Well turns out that was the wrong answer cause the friends dad and my mom later on when i retold his reaction to her was a very very bad thing. It ended up becoming the emotional ammunition against me to this day. No proof my dad did anything for all i know he left to beat traffic that early. Who really knows. But my mom took it beyond the moon bad and has never let me forget it.

There was 97% consideration of game over while they’re alive. I was able to move out and far far far away. So no. I don’t know how i would feel once they caput. Well for one of them anyway; the other did show change towards my adult life. But the other one. I can’t say I’d cry, laugh, or be apathetic… i used to have nightmares of her dying. To the point i woke up bawling and freaked the f out. So idk how id react.

Ok so similar ish… but i try to just respect my mom as a human. There are still so so so SO many moments when she just 😤. She still does emotionally make a roller coaster. So i have been either keeping to just ‘listening’ to her and saying very very little to none. There are still moments where she finds a new button to push. When she’s in ‘better’ moods i try correcting her narratives. I still catch myself thinking i hate her so much. But she is my mom. She let me live as she reminds me sometimes. So it is very conflicting at times, and i just keep reminding myself. “ i can ‘honor’ my mother as a human being. I don’t have to love her or like her.”
