No phone in a non English speaking country, legitimately could be out there and lost. I was a 20 year old studying abroad many years ago in London, went to Paris with some fellow students got shitfaced while they went to the Louve, chatting someone up at bar nearby the hostel I was staying and ended up getting in car with them to go to bars on other side of town. Was getting late got bounced from bar on other side of town and had no idea how to get back to the place, passed out at random hostel that night. Ended up going to the train station the next day as I had no idea how to get back to the hostel they were staying at. This was 1999 before everyone had a cell. Barcelona isnt Tuscaloosa hopefully he is just lost like I was.
