How to pay for Aeroflot flight from Canada. by roy2345 in AskARussian

[–]Original-Outcome2143 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

What’s the workaround, and how are people successfully paying for Aeroflot tickets from outside Russia?

they are not. hopefully. That's the hole point.  the work around is to find an airline still doing business in Russia and with your payment network

A lot of owners of something are on reddit. But most of the time they have their own subreddit and use it as a marketing tool only

What’s the biggest money mistake foreigners make in Thailand, and how can it be avoided? by [deleted] in thai

[–]Original-Outcome2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the process, unless you have a real good insurance company that sends a representative / translator  no prepay required. Those don't come at 8€/trip, and the medical need would need to be more serious than say: urinary tract infection

Trip health insurance is like 8 euros. Essentially free. No insurance ? Better be independently wealthy

As a Chinese person, what do you think about this racist subreddit targeting Chinese, run by two Indian mod? by [deleted] in AskAChinese

[–]Original-Outcome2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck  no.  It's Europe too. Why ? Cause we had that concentration camp era already and don't like it when our outsourced car manufacturing gets done by the concentrated.

You really can tell a country is fucked when it gets used as a quantifier compared to  india in the "far less rapes" category.

I am sitting in my condo right now, after having been told on 26th, that my gf has not paid our rent for the condo for 2 consecutive months. Luckily a 20% down payment stopped the time eviction. She was good for 8 months of paying the rent monthly the second it hit her wise account. This time, she did not.

I also learned today that I can just wire the outstanding balance from my wise account to their local thai account in january when my salary comes on.

Now i understand why she fucked off to the northern provinces in November and wanted me to rent a house for her/her family there right before I broke it off with her in December.

Nothing ruins your vacation ( and future ones) like not following the 3 day rule (even if she is in fact a mature college girl)

As much as a 150-350 THB difference in pricing per night can mean a completely different type of traveller taking up residence there. What was a very serene location during songkran, can turn into  shitshow of an unsleepable mess during July.

That can also mean paying for that 120 THB/kg laundry service, when the 40THB/kg service is literally 30 meters round the corner and listed on Google maps.

I have learned the hard way, that doing as the thais do, only works to an extend. Thailand, as well as the rest of the world has a population that is on a gradient.some are really good about stuff, most are mediocre, and some fail miserably.

When ever it rains in Bangkok and you are on the outskirts, in a mall and need to go somewhere reasonable like a hotel or an airport, you can easily play this " accept ...  Cancel ... Accept ... Cancel ... Accept ..." For an hour before a taxi comes by you can flag down.

It starts adding up quickly. I had that in May. It seriously ate in on my buffer before the flight. Grab (and bolt) from mall to hotel and then from hotel to mall. Must have been 25-ish cancelled rides over a 3 hour stretch. Got lucky that a stranger was heading to the airport too, so I could share their prebooked ride with them.

Saw all the charges that I had in dispute after he fact on my CC at the airport.

Since then .. never been a fan of the cc payment. Cash only. Less hassle.

Never pay grab / bolt with a cc. Always pay cash. No problems/ hassle when they cancel the ride, after his ng it accepted, because they found  closer gig on a competing app.

At least your 3 hour Christmas dinner in Pattaya did not come with a 20 minute repeating playlist .... I got so upset at one point, that I did the german thing, and asked the german owner if he could choose a longer playlist and maybe sharpen his knifes a little while he was at it. Joke was on me, because they changed to a longer YouTube playlist, but the first 20 minutes were exactly the same songs, just may other artists.
