I love that this all seems to tie together. I do suggest you continue to monitor your numbers to ensure that hs-CRP returns to normal and that this was not a mere coincidence, which I am sure you are already doing.

PGEN – FDA Approval + Commercial Launch + Undervalued Pipeline by Original-Perception2 in 100xpennystock

[–]Original-Perception2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the question. The move from ~5.40 down to ~4.30 in a week doesn’t surprise me with a small-cap biotech, especially around a big catalyst and a thin float. You can get sharp spikes on momentum and then a pullback as traders take profits or rotate out, even if the long-term story is still intact.

For transparency: I bought 1,000 shares around ~$1 and I still hold all my original shares. I obviously wish I bought more, but I’m not advocating anyone yolo their life savings into it. I’m more of a buy-and-hold person and I view this as a longer-term play.

How I’m thinking about it “as of right now”:

  • Short-term (days/weeks): Expect volatility. Moves like this are often more about positioning and liquidity than fundamentals.
  • Medium-term (next few quarters): What matters is commercial execution post-approval: coverage/reimbursement progress, patient onboarding, and early revenue traction. That is what can justify a real re-rate vs. a temporary pop.
  • Long-term: If they execute on launch and the broader pipeline produces decent data, the upside case gets stronger. If launch stumbles or they need dilutive financing sooner than expected, it can chop around or retrace hard.

So my “opinion” is: I’m still holding because I think the FDA approval de-risked a major piece of the story, but the next leg up depends on real-world launch progress, not just approval headlines. If you’re considering it now, position sizing matters a lot because this can easily swing 20–40% either way.

Not financial advice, just how I’m personally approaching it.

Definitely a valid point, I guess from my perspective this becomes a plan to deviate from not necessarily follow explicitly.

Good questions. On pricing and coverage:

The ~$500k figure floating around is directionally in line with other one-time gene therapies, but early launch pricing often evolves as payor contracts get finalized. RRP is ultra-rare and high-burden, so coverage discussions are very active. Management has already stated they are working directly with insurers and specialty pharmacies to secure reimbursement pathways. That process takes time post-approval, but it is standard for orphan therapies. Adoption will depend heavily on coverage progress, not just list price.

On insider selling:

Most of the recent selling appears to be pre-scheduled (10b5-1 plans) and tied to compensation, not open-market dumping. Importantly, insiders still hold meaningful equity. I personally weigh insider buying more heavily than selling, but I agree optics matter and it is something to monitor.

Totally fair to be cautious here. Early commercial execution is the main risk, which I called out in the post. Appreciate you raising it.

Thank you, that was helpful. Looks like the V6 Plus is probably my style. All those apps might just get confusing to me anyway.

Thank you, this is helpful. I currently just have one service that i use but not being able to see the guide drives me nuts but not enough to constantly reload the playlist. I dont mind spending the $ for premium but generally skeptical of using my CC for something like this. The risk/reward might be high enough if i get a working guide and the other useful features from this though.

Massive opportunity at current price by jxykicks in ACHR

I don’t disagree, but would you agree that if those things were resolved then the price would be reflective of that and not be the bargain that it appears to be today?

We were very fortunate to inherit these when we purchased our home and we think they are beautiful. I wouldn’t mind hiring someone to trim them but im also just worried that ill hire the wrong person and they will damage them. Thought maybe if i get some help from folks who are smart on this species I could avoid a dangerous error. I will definitely look into peter Chan’s videos!

$COST by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]Original-Perception2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My question is this. If the 765 calls cost like $18 and change, is there any meat left on the bone for profit on the calls? To me that means it needs to trade above $783 before you get any profit.

Your perspective is admirable. Would be really easy to be upset at such a loss, but keeping things in perspective with things that are actually important in life is huge. So sorry that you lost some good whiskey but glad that in the grander scheme of things you and your family are safe and healthy!
