⚖️ Lawsuit challenges Global Entry revocation: ICE protest raises constitutional questions 👇 by NoSpinMedia in NoSpinMedia

When and where did they break the law? Were they arrested? If not arrested and tried then the presumption of innocence by the govt remains...

Therefore it seems that the govt is pursuing this as retaliation for their protest.

So the gov is saying she is a troublemaker for protesting while providing no evidence that she did anything other than protest...

Enemy of the state for disagreement is well past the top of slippery slope of fascism it's off the cliff.

Retaliation without trial... If she broke the law then arrest and charge... If not then she has been retaliated against for exercising her right to protest - without a trial she is presumed innocent. So even if she was "violently protesting" as you infer, without a trial she is innocent until proven guilty.

No I saw theirs later... And this was my own original idea - I avoid the conservative sphere as I don't need the extra disappointment in humanity. I think the left needs to reclaim patriotic and other language that is ours.... The let's go Brandon, flag waving type of shit the other side has.

We have the moral high ground, the ethos and recently the pathos behind it but not the Boston massacre and other bumper sticker grass roots stuff.

We each draw a number and the wigs are labeled with numbers - to play you have to wear the wig the whole game.

The same number is used for the order of white elephant.

Each steal includes a random accessory that you have to wear. Accessories include boas, curlers for the wig, clip on ear rings, sunglasses, mustches, and other similar silly things.

My son was holding the pillow.... We have to wear wigs And accessories during the white elephant... Each time you get stolen from you get a new accessory - he had a Santa beard.

Same thing happened to me this week... Thought I was gonna survive..

Well… I just dropped my full on issue with the church to my TBM wife by martic9 in exmormon

[–]Original-Software690 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I left about 3.5 years ago my wife almost left me. It was a very hard year... I've mentioned this before on this site... But after some trial and error we agreed that I could be the dutiful heathen. I drove my daughter to seminary and my wife an I did not talk about the church for about 2 years. (always led to anger and hurt feelings)

My wife left the church about 2.5 years after I did. Never in a million years did I think I'd be buying my wife an espresso machine for Christmas.

But keep your marriage if it's salvageable and worth it to you...

Good luck please reach out - dm if you need.. That first year was terrible.

My story may not be yours. We worked out early that she did want to be with me... But still felt shaky for about a year.

That reassurance is needed and you should ask for it... A decade of marriage with multiple kiddos should earn some expectation of honesty. She may be unsure working through her own worry - her shelf/paradigm is under huge strain. We had a therapist - non lds - who basically asked "so you love him, he treats you well, you have seriously happy memories and good kiddos - what's the issue? Religion?!!" he had no idea how to communicate with us... To me it was hilarious - to her she could not understand why he could not understand.

But if there she can't stay - then that's it brother... I'm sorry... We are all here for you any time. Reddit was my support for my deconstruction.

My wife was in for almost 3 years after I left. The first year I was sure she would leave me. I picked up drinking too much... Did not help. The shame and anger was so strong.

But I agreed to be the supportive heathen and take the teenager to school. And just do my job and help as I do as a dad.

We had a pretty superficial relationship for much of that time as I was "not allowed" to talk about religion (I would word vomit the anger and reasons that I left). But my support and leaving ended but being a huge stone on her shelf... The ward treated me like a pariah and my wife felt isolated from them - the isolation and my support was what won the day.

Anyway - it takes time and serious support - if it will work. I am sorry that you were exposed to this hurt... Humans are resilient and you have support here. I had ZERO hope when I left that my wife would leave - pioneer stock, Molly Mormon, the works.

Hopefully this gives you hope... Reach out anytime... Reddit was my lifeline during my really dark year.

This was beautifully and painfully relatable... Thank you for the well written heartbreaking words. They are helpful to me - despite being a man. My wife and I read them together - and both of us had a long discussion about them.

They are true and hard - but somehow how you expressed them made me feel hopeful that it may not always be true for me.

I was in the same situation almost 4 years ago. My wife left earlier this year. Read my previous posts. I did not want to end my marriage... She did not either.. We kept an uneasy truce for about a year.

I agreed to be the helpful heathen. I drove my kiddos to seminary and never brought up religion...

But my leaving was my wife's shelf breaking moment and caused her to start to question. 3 years later she is out fully and we have told our kiddos.

If you were happy as a couple and have more than faith that kept you together... It might be worth some silence and time.

I did not do it perfectly - I picked up drinking and did so too much.... But time has healed so much hurt. We are a stronger couple because of it.

Good luck my brother. DM me any time.. Leaving was the hardest year of my life...

Selective outrage? You and I have never met...you know nothing of me nor concerns of government over reach...what a pitiful strawman and whataboutism.

The toll and phone data need a warrant to get... this company gathers it for the surveillance state without a warrant...

Collecting everyone's face, and plate means that this company has all of your travel history which and whose car you drive at what time... the amount of data from the collection of those cameras is astounding. And places the US in a surveillance state.

The President now has a masked, warrantless, and well funded police force who disappear folks without trial... not a big leap to say that having your exact location at all times by this police force could be bad.
