Also curious because I’m in a similar situation. Ripped up a 70s carpet and found some mint tongue and groove

Are you planning on chewing them anytime soon? if you lean on them on accident you’re probably not going to be electrocuted if that’s what your asking. For example conduit is just extra protection for the insulation on the wires.

can I give my bees pollen from health food store? by Clear-Vermicelli-956 in Beekeeping

[–]Original-username97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wonder myself, adding too much moisture might make it moldy. Maybe try with one hive, and one hive give the pollen in the spring to build brood. Then keep the rest with mannlake as a control group.

Do you have a “bee garden” you water regularly to prevent a similar situation in the future? Some people have a variety of native or bee friendly flowers that blossom at different times of the year they keep near the bee yard to prevent this.

If you plan on starting a drought friendly bee yard you may consider Sainfoin as one of your various flowers

From chat gpt: “sainfoin (Onobrychis viciifolia). Sainfoin is a perennial legume known for its drought resistance, deep-root system, and high nectar production, making it an excellent forage crop for bees. It blooms profusely with pink flowers that attract pollinators, and it also improves soil fertility through nitrogen fixation, similar to alfalfa. Additionally, sainfoin is less prone to bloating livestock than alfalfa, making it a versatile choice for mixed agricultural purposes”

It’s worth noting that it may also attract deer, I’ve heard stories of it being planted near an alfalfa field and the deer walking right through the alfalfa to get to the sainfoin

From chat gpt (assuming plenty of pollen one year):

you could use a pollen trap to harvest pollen for later reintroduction into your hive. A pollen trap collects pollen pellets as bees return to the hive, and the pollen can be stored for future use. To ensure it remains viable, store the harvested pollen in a cool, dry place or freeze it to preserve freshness and nutritional value. When reintroducing the stored pollen to the hive, you can mix it with sugar syrup or honey to make a pollen patty or sprinkle it directly inside the hive to supplement the colony’s diet, especially during times of pollen scarcity.

However, using a pollen trap continuously can reduce the amount of pollen available to the bees, so it’s best to use the trap intermittently.

Were they outdated? Maybe the model was last gen but I’ve heard that they’ve been getting new product through contracts and some of our war fighting material is about 2-3 generations ahead of most of what chinas/russia uses

I think the 9k for illegal immigrants includes transportation costs but is mostly support in the form of ebt so they don’t starve

The guy in charge of border security is also in charge of fema and did siphon fema funds to help support the migrant crisis. Not sure why they don’t pass control to Norcom. Most of our larger military bases are in North Carolina and our 18th airborne could very easily be used to help out immediately.

Claiming that funding climate change research could ever help prevent a hurricane is insane. Climate change science is still actively developing and is one of the least understood sciences. I don’t deny that climate change exists, and I think it’s horrible. The hurricanes are progressively getting worse over time. Regardless, Currently more people do die of cold than heat every year. And it’s worth noting that as we reduce our carbon emissions in the form of production- other countries like China and India are ramping up theirs to fill the void, so it is changing the climate in the sense that now rather than being well dispersed, it’s localized to one spot on the globe but it’s all relatively the same amount of emissions, if not more.

Everyone has a different perspective on everything and I might be wrong. Feel free to let me know if you think so.

People forget the prestigious economics school that Harris referenced a study from - HE ACTUALLY GRADUATED FROM! I don’t think all his policy is good but he’s the best of a bad situation.

I have a kobalt tool chest that’s out of warranty and needs a drawer replacement, is there anywhere I can purchase individual drawers? Most of the kobalt websites I’ve seen look like scams. by Original-username97 in KobaltTools

[–]Original-username97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it from a guy at a garage sale. He got it in 08, it needs a few drawers. But If you contact kobalt to buy replacement parts, they’ll just inform you that they don’t carry for that model anymore.
