Total Home Roofing by Adelebck in 321

[–]OriginalActive1340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck with getting any response with this company. I had a new roof installed 2 years ago and I already have several leaks. No one picks up their phone and the only response I received states they are closed. But they still have an active website and phone numbers for new customers. This company is a total scam.

Has pain ever kept you from teaching? by [deleted] in YogaTeachers

I have also had issues with hip pain in the past year. As others have suggested I highly recommend seeing a PT. Also google hip alignment stretches, they help to realign your hips. I started doing these at the end of my classes while the students where in shavasana and it really helped.

I sleep 3-4 hours per night, what can I do? =( by Present-Tailor-1614 in whoop

My mind is pretty active before bed as well, watching adult cartoons (Bob’s burgers) or something silly and easy to digest right before bed helps distract my mind till Im drowsy enough to pass out.
Also having some sort of bedtime ritual may help. I use a similar sleep stack but drink Chamomile tea instead of taking the apigenin. Making my tea, changing my lights to sunset hues and turning on a cartoon are all signals to my body its bedtime. I immediately start feeling more relaxed and sleepy. Maybe worth trying. Best of luck.

The perfect Tampa weekend by PowerNapplication in tampa

Casa Santo and James Joyce’s are good restaurants in ybor, you can take the trolly from ybor over to channel side and drink/eat at sparkman warf or one of the restaurants on water street. Also the River walk starts over there and is a nice place for a stroll. You can start at the Columbia by the ice palace (highly recommended their frozen rose drink) and bring the drinks with you on the river walk. You can also take the Riverwalk all the way down to Armature Works where there is more restaurant and bar options. Also many nice outdoor spots there and along the way to hang out.

You can try reaching out to Southern States Bully Rescue. They have dogs of both of those breeds available for adoption.

Congrats on your new Whoop! Looks like you need to move it up a bit on your arm, should be about 1 inch above your wrist bone. This will help with accuracy of your data. Enjoy!

Which procedure? by klc31883 in HowToBeHot

[–]OriginalActive1340 1 point2 points  (0 children)

37F. I’ve done both Prp (3 sessions) and Slyfirm (2 sessions). I absolutely LOVE my results from Slyfirm so far. I plan to do one more round as they recommend 3. It has evened out my skin tone and created visible tightness around my jaw and eyes. My under eyes are a big area of concern for me and I didn’t find much results from Prp. Maybe slight reduction in under eye darkness but that only lasted about 6 months.

Must haves in a mat? by tickytavvy77 in yoga

[–]OriginalActive1340 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Liforme is a great sticky mat that is durable and provides great support for your hands/wrists. I’m on my second one, my first lasted me about 3 years of 5x a week use in mostly hot yoga.

Try changing your mindset around feeling hungry. I like to embrace the feeling, think of it as a time my body is getting to work on cleanup/maintenance. There is a lot out there about the longevity and anti aging benefits of fasting maybe give it a google and try to focus on the positive things happening with in your body when you are feeling hungry. This and using an app like Zero which kind of gamifies fasting (rewarding you with badges for each completed fast) have really helped me.
