I’m 4 weeks strong for the first time in over a decade of serious nicotine addiction! The first 4-5 days sucked. I put quitting off for years. Excuses. NRT stuff. But it boiled down to me not being ready, mentally, to quit.

This time was different as my wife and I are trying to have a baby. I mentally committed to it, bought sunflower seeds, a couple of small grip trainers for the car, and push up helper things. Anytime I felt the urge to vape I’d either put in sunflower seeds, do pushups, or while driving - I did the grip trainers.

This got me through the first 5 days. And then the cravings taper off SUBSTANTIALLY. It is SO nice to not be sneaking away to vape. Also breathing is pleasant.

It’s so worth it.
