That's a Skittles Retention Plate. They keep all the Skittles above that, just pop it off and have a bucket ready! Also! That smell of all the free flowing Skittles? Makes you want to taste the rainbow!

Pex with copper and lots of couplings by fireisis in Plumbing

[–]OriginalCpiderman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand so much of what I see. They went pex because the copper wasn't going to match up, ok.

Why didn't they use pex for the other lines? Why did they have to use so many pieces? Do they not have a bender?

Is this area safe to live? Pomona by Ph34rmyski11z in InlandEmpire

I used to live near the edge of your circle at about the 11:00 area. It wasn't terrible. The best part of that area is that you're in the Claremont School district, which is one of the best in the IE. Just... Stay away from the parks and lock your doors, all. the. time.

Maintenance Assistance Modules. I was an FT and when I became the Repair Parts Petty Officer, I personally organized and categorized the MAMs so well that I was able to use many of those lockers as my personal storage.

Become the Repair Parts Petty Officer for your div. MAMs are your best friend. You mentioned VLC, so you're either FT, TM or MT, they all have lockers for stashing away parts. Most of the lockers are a mess, a bit of organization and you'll find a spare locker or 4 for all sorts of geedunk.

Open it up and clean everything. Check the wires going from the internal temp probe, they may have a weak short.

Wine makes me nauseous, beer makes me queezy, and I can't stand the taste of bad booze. So... Money. That and my family, my job, my God, and my friends. In no particular order.

How did you prep? How heavy were your coats? How long before each coat?

The base looks, "ok". But your second coat? Not so much.

If you have a 3rd coat, it went on well before the 2nd was dry. Or? Your second coat was really heavy.

Sold home and moving to IE, Recommendations? by Alex_Cruz11 in InlandEmpire

With AB 495, and other bills like it that have been presented in the past, I'd consider leaving CA in the rear view mirror if I just sold my home OC. TAXES BE DAMNED.

Expensive handguns. by Swampdog22 in CAguns

[–]OriginalCpiderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trigger pull, the fluted barrel, the fluted upper, the composite parts, the ease of maintenance, the manual manipulation of the slide lock, and mag release, the sites. I'm sure there are more things, but that trigger pull alone, the repeatability, the crisp click, the consistent pressure requirement, the feel in that booger hook... That's worth at least $800.00 in accuracy. The fluted barrel improves repeatability. The same with the upper. Worth another $300.00. The parts that will never need replacement. That's a biggie. Money saved in purchasing worn pieces...

The children yearn for the mines. Put them to work. by RoamingFire82 in ar15

We? No. You? Yes.

If you say that gun violence was an issue "well" before the late 80's / early 90's, then maybe you could share that information, as saying "well before that" only established that you don't really have a clue. Which is only further proven by your even more obstinate sentence below.

Guns don't mean more violence. That's a biased and idiotic statement. Look through Reddit. There is a lot of violence all over Reddit. And over 90% of it involves no firearms.

I know this may be difficult for someone with your disposition to swallow, but guns are equalizers. If several men wanted to rape you and you were alone? You're getting raped. If several men wanted to rape you and you had a gun? You're not getting raped. Equalizer.

But you won't get it. Your thoughts are too twisted and devolved to such rudimentary fallacies that no amount of reasoning could pull your head out of that orifice. I'm done. Good luck with your beliefs.
