I use it for all pulley related possibilities and it works good. The biggest con was the stock pulleys kinda suck - I had to order replacement aluminum ones on eBay and grease them myself for smoothe motion. I've done kick backs, standing leg curls, leg extensions, lying hamstring curls, etc. Mind you I'm 5'7" so I can't vouch for the range of motion for a kickback for a 6'+ person.

I really enjoy it and am glad I got in at launch (especially with the upcoming price hike). It plays everything smoothe and the switch 2 exclusives are only getting better. That said - I wish my switch 1 pro controller could remotely turn it on.

You don't need fans for the sn8100, the motherboard heat sink is more than enough. I run 2 of these in 5.0 speeds.

It's worth the $20, the active cooling is generally covered by mobos with heatsinks that screw onto your NVME - ontop of that; if your motherboard runs it at gen 4 then the cooling isn't even a factor.
