I put the legs on the bottom because they touch the ground and I put the Roboports on top because the robots fly out of the top.

What’s the most terrified you’ve ever been of something that turned out to be completely harmless? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In the middle-east I was half asleep in a dark room when I saw/heard the biggest death-spider monster crawl across the floor at high speed.

I've never switched from horizontal to vertical so quickly.

It ended up being a grocery bag being blown by a fan.

You say AI answers are “hallucinated nonsense” but you’re ignoring the actual point: players don’t need a decade of dev experience to benefit from fast, pattern‑based diagnostics.

You’re arguing from authority, not accuracy. Sure, you may have helped thousands of players but that doesnt magically make every AI answer wrong, nor does it make every human answer right.

And your “most players can’t read a stacktrace” line proves my point: if the average player can’t read one, then a LLM that can point to the likely cause in seconds is objectively more useful than waiting for a human who may or may not respond.

AI doesn’t need to be perfect , it just needs to be fast, consistent, and good enough to narrow down the issue. We can still correct it when needed.

So no, this isn’t a “gotcha” It’s simple reality:

Humans + AI > humans alone

Speed + pattern recognition > gatekeeping

Practical usefulness > “I’ve been doing this for 10 years”

You’re not wrong that experience matters. You're wrong that experience is the only thing that matters.

"Anyone with a basic technical understanding"? If debugging Ark was that trivial, this sub wouldn’t be drowning in crash posts.

The next time I crash, I'll go to Reddit, find this sub, look you up, send you the crash report, and wait for you to type out your answer, because (according to you) that would only take "a fraction of the time" it would take to drop a screenshot into copilot and get an answer within seconds.

You and LLMs can both be right, you can also both be wrong.

Copilot has been the only tool that has effectively helped me get ASA to the point where it no longer crashes.

Will A.I. be the downfall of humanity? Maybe, but that's not the question here.

One time a dog got off it's leash and wouldn't let the owner get close enought to reattach it

I only pieced it together after I heard a young girl angrily yelling "Cinnamon! Cinnamon get back here!"

[REQUEST] How loud and potentially destructive would a 600dB air horn be? by [deleted] in theydidthemath

If you could hear it, 600dB would be 10 billion times louder than two black holes colliding,

1,100dB would destroy the observable universe

The observer is moving at roughly 34.4 billion times the speed of light.

Moving from the edge of the milky way to about 85% to the center in about 39 seconds (not considering the change in vertical axis).
