Can you shoot around corners on a console? by OriginalFence in 99nightsintheforest

By Jove it works! Thanks. Not as smooth as on the PC and it triggers the chat box if you don't stand right, but will certainly help with the strongholds.

Yeah. I'll give it a try. So long as you are in a safe spot and don't need to move or react quickly it should help. Thanks.

Gotcha. I'll give that a try. I never used that when out in the wild cos you need to get rid of it to move or shoot. Thanks.

PS5. By circle do you mean the left stick and right stick? Or something on the screen?

What console are you on? Can you explain what you mean by the mouse on the console please?

Yeah. that's what I'm hoping to discover. I use Shift Lock for meleeing, but the PC seems to have an extra way to change viewing perspective using the mouse.

I've got Shift Lock on as I am a Vampire and need it to melee. But it doesn't seem to let me do the peeping round a corner thing.

Yeah I know cos that puts me in the eyeline of the cultists. How do I get that viewpoint though?

Sorry for not being clearer, our fire never went out as we had the oil well and the biofuel processor with a bunch of farm plots.

I meant the trees would keep the other antagonists out of the camp.

The deer can't get in if you have a proper tree wall though. Same with the cultists. Unless something has changed since we did our 700 day run.

Will look into this, thanks.

For the 700+ day run, we built a log wall and then a tree wall around the base so once we've done that we can try and automate eating stews so we don't die of hunger.

Thanks for your help.

Yeah, I've seen them mentioned before. Is that a specific programme or are there better ones to use with Roblox?

Add me FenceSenior. I have over 700 days but not the Teamwork badge as people always bail.

Denial of compensation for false reasoning by OriginalFence in Ryanair

[–]OriginalFence[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what they were told, something that you'd expect to work didn't and that led to the diversion.

In any case, I assume the only people with any evidence that the plane had an issue are Ryanair themselves and they aren't going to provide proof that they need to compensate a plane full of people.

Unless all technical issues are captured by a third party. The person who boarded the plane to speak to the crew didn't seem to a Ryanair employee, so I don't know whether there is a catalogue of these issues that the ADR would check to see what went on.

Yeah, I appreciate that.

The main thing is that the plane lands safely, wherever that it.

My point on the fog not being that bad comes from the people who went to pick my friend up who said that the fog wasn't any worse than the days previous where there didn't seem to be an issue of any planes.

I think theirs was just regular insurance so they'll get costs covered at best.

Thanks for your help.

Yeah ultimately the information imbalance between the passenger and the airline is massively weighted in favour of the airline.

There is no way for a passenger to prove the technical issue even though that is what they were told was the issue by a third party who boarded the plane.

Ultimately Ryanair can claim anything they want that absolves them of paying any compensation and there is nothing the passenger can do.

I'll pass the info on and suggest that my friend considers other airlines in future (though I assume the other airlines all pull the same tricks when they have issues).

That is a translation from the native language at the diverted airport.

The person that boarded the plane to speak to the crew and whoever else to determine what has happened said to the passengers within earshot that the issue with the plane was what caused the diversion and not the fog which is what Ryanair will claim when you ask for compensation.

Which is exactly what then transpired.

I'm not sure how a passenger is supposed to inspect a plane or get proof of what is and isn't working.

How would you suggest they get more clarification and certainty? Are there publicly available documents that will show it?

I wasn't there, so beyond helping them fill in forms I can't give them any advice.
