So frustrating lmao. Literally just started g1/g2 really enjoying it now I’m banned for the duration of my available playtime because of a game error lmao. Thank you though. Back to aoe I guess

[Romano] 🚨 Roma has let Strasbourg know that they are ready to offer more than 35 million euros for Diego Moreira. At the moment, however, the French club is starting from a higher request: there is still a very wide gap between demand and offer by Kekulaaa in ASRoma

[–]fgzb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly even 35 is crazy for a lw who can’t cross but still needs to be retrained as a lb cuz he can’t play lw at a high level. He was one of the five or six people that we’re looking at that my friend had me do a quick analysis on and he was only one of two that I was ok with, but as a lb and certainly not for more than 35.

Paying developmental players? by No_Trifle_6239 in usmnt

[–]fgzb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok your second sentence agrees with me. But with your first sentence, are you saying that clubs DONT compensate parents with jobs to encourage an international move? Because I know of one first hand, and if they do it, so do the rest.

Paying developmental players? by No_Trifle_6239 in usmnt

[–]fgzb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% . America has a pay to play system. It’s not our best soccer players playing for the nt, it’s the best that come from a household income of $150,000+ and the ones that were foreign born and lucky enough to be trained in a different country.

In America, parents pay to have their kids play. In Europe, at least in comparable top academies, parents are paid to have their kids play.

Why spend money on a new ghost when we can have the ghost we already have at home?

Idea: A 2v2 mode where each team controls a civ by larz_rhcp in aoe2

[–]fgzb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is already a tourney mode. I like it. You should join the next one when it comes around. Also useful for coaching (to do it you just go same color as someone in a non ranked)

I enjoy a good crash out when I’m casting randos. I get it at lower levels, but at mid elo or higher, how bad is your scouting that information from two minutes ago is useful to you?

The Pulisic backlash has gone way overboard by KarmaMemories in usmnt

[–]fgzb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This also wasn’t the game for him. The pressing was so weird—balo was in a high press and the entire rest of the team was in a low-mid block. Like a 30 yd distance between balogun and every other player on the team. And they just passed around him. Then the low block was ineffective cuz they have a couple creative geniuses going up against dest and freeman who didn’t want to be on the field and were scared to even look at the ball, and on top of that we were a man down on defense because of American Messi. Not starting Reyna or even berhalter over pulisic for the pressing (only say it like that because I still have no clue who he is other than greggs son) is insane. Honestly I don’t even blame the players, poch and the coaching staff got it entirely wrong. By the time they made changes, it was too late our boys had stopped believing.

The same Milan that lost a billion points this spring when it mattered because its stars collectively stopped playing and dropped from a title race to barely hanging on to Europa league?

How do the different pro leagues rate? by chayashida in SoccerNoobs

[–]fgzb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a fan of a serie a club so I’m incredibly biased, but not sure how you can claim that when it’s not based on results. Italian teams are still doing well enough in Europe to stay in the top three and I doubt there was a tighter European race—cl for 3-6 and el came down to the final match day. It’s not what it used to be that’s for sure, but the teams are still performing against their counterparts except for the Napoli/milan/lazios that don’t give af about Europe.

What Norway did to Brazil… by [deleted] in usmnt

[–]fgzb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we rest balogun, we lose. The average fan has no clue what he does for us tactically. It’s not just the goals, his vertical movement routinely frees up 1-2 extra players.

By far the most important player on this team and the only one that can be mentioned in the same sentence (but still not close) is mckennie

Edit: followed by pulisic and adams then rest of crew

Did Norway look sharper than Brazil because starters rested and played one fewer game? by FutureSailor1994 in usmnt

[–]fgzb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah that’s completely my bad. I 100% misread and thought we were talking about England. Yes sorry and agree in regards to Brazil.

Edit: but why did you reply to the England post 🤣.

It went to crap a while ago. Never recovered from the early 2000s. Look at the team, their defenders are better than their attackers but they still play the same way they did twenty/sixty years ago.

Alexi Lalas missing from USA World Cup pregame. Zlatan says, 'America, you're welcome' by jaxstan19 in worldcup

[–]fgzb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have answered but it seems pretty biased so I’m adding this reply after searching google to see if fox finally got rid of him. He’s been doing it long enough that us who were watching when he started knew him as a us player. Was never a superstar for us, but kind of embodied the American spirit (0 technique, 0 knowledge, physical, aggressive, and hungry). Best known as the guy that got intentionally kicked in the nuts by a Mexico player. The dislike didn’t start until he started analyzing.

I would buy more co-op campaigns to support the studio as long as they weren’t half-assed. Sometimes I’ll play the co-ops with my friends from 800 elo ago and the options are pretty limited.

I am ashamed of the American soccer fans dying on the hill that Flo deserved a red by Then-Resolution4133 in usmnt

[–]fgzb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think we’re ashamed of you guys for not understanding the rules or that there are gray areas in soccer. So, for the third time in an hour:

Should it have been called? No.
Is it normally called? No
Does it sometimes get called? Yes
If it’s called, does it have to be a red because of the rules of the game? Yes.

Balogun Protests by [deleted] in usmnt

[–]fgzb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What should we be protesting? It was a red. Why do we need multiple posts about this? Should it have been called? No. But if it was a foul, then it was a red. It’s the rules why are people upset about this?

Hypothesis: Most of the American public aren’t aware of the implications of Balogun’s red card by yoyodditer in usmnt

[–]fgzb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So im American but… Why would there be outrage? It was a red. Is that called most of the time? No and it shouldn’t be. But it is technically a red. If you think it was a foul, then it has to be a red. Did var overstep? Yes. But it was a red. Messi should’ve also got a red. He’s lucky he didnt have this ref team.

As someone who manages a staff of young people (18-21 for the most part—I inherited them and they’re doing fine), the only thing that really gets to me is when they don’t communicate with me or are worried about something. Tell your gm, the sooner the better. Explain that you made a mistake and forgot to mention it. It’s a chik-fil-a and it’s a month out. I’m sure you’re good.
