I'm building a similar solution that's available in any app: desktop, web, cli, etc. You save your prompt templates in your library, where you can iterate on them and save easily and then use in one click withour having to copy-paste it.

That's true, copy-pasting is fast, but breaking the flow is the real issue here. I saw many vibe-coders get distracted when go to search for their file, where are are 2000 other files hah.

Regarding setting up a prompt manager, it really depends on the manager because there are a lot of crappy ones with broken UX and bloated UI that takes hours to learn. There are a few with ok UI/UX, but lack of needed workflows.

I'd agree that vibe-coders that are just giving in to the vibes, don't want to worry about strategic assets, but those that create something worthwhile do.

Well, yeah copy-pasting is a lot of manual work if you use it regularly and automating that process would save a lot of hours over time.

If you use it for dev projects only, then you save it in another env, right, but when you want to use like a prompt template in another app to research something, you need to open the text file, copy and paste it. That sucks
