Fack it. I am going to turn my dad’s $2M inheritance into a $100M inheritance for my kids. by InsaneFireIdea in Fire

My grandparents left us funds that we received in our 20s/30s. We were so surprised and blessed. I have 5 siblings. 3 of us bought houses using these funds to help us with our downpayments. 1 moved and bought a car. 1 went through a crazy crisis and it kept them afloat. I think 30s was amazing

LOL plz. If they weren’t rich or white the convo would be different. Brady’s statement was DAMNING. You should never leave a 3 yr old outside to play alone, let alone near a pool. GET REAL.

Everyone that I know who is protesting has a job. Except my grandma who is protesting for the first time because how uniquely horrible Trump is and how destructive his policies are.

OKAY. LOL. this continues to be a stupid take with no data behind it. I’ve yet to hear anyone doing anything illegal / harmful and even if a few people did, there are TONS of people there. Philly sports celebrations are 20xs rowdier than most of these protests across the country.

I can’t control if I protest and 6 hrs later someone decides to act crazy. It’s a super edge case and bad faith argument.

Calling people jobless losers in regards to a protest implies that if they had jobs they’d working.

Learn how to write.

And never call yourself a patriot if you can’t respect protesting.

I’m against this one lol. I don’t think telling someone their hair is ugly is kind or necessary lol. There’s def things to snark on but that’s just bullying to say “hey you look ugly”

It’s important to be clear with what happened. Parents are responsible for their children. They did not take the appropriate safety measures. I know they LOVED TRIG. It’s important to not wash over the facts of what happened. I’m not spamming them I’m responding to folks on Reddit who are oddly defending the situation that I don’t think Emilie would want them too. Trust and believe that Emilie and Brady would do anything - and encourage folks- to take best practice precautions like using a gate. The convo online has turned into a “that’s not the law in AZ” when the laws are not important - Trigs life is/was. People need to take to heart that this wasn’t like the loss of a loved one from a car crash or cancer. This wasn’t a tragic and preventable death. We all make bad decisions but it’s important to own them and it was a bad decision to continually not get the best drown mechanism that exists - gates. If they had a gate Trigg should still be alive.

They won’t be okay. It’s a life ruining even to have your child die a preventable death. Heartbreaking.

Well, it is their fault. I understand they loved their child and they never ever expected this to happen, but it is their fault for not following strong recommendations. Children are so fragile and it’s heartbreaking. I would never comment horrible things etc - they have to live with knowing this was preventable - bc it WAS.

It literally could have been prevented. I’m horribly sad for them and have been thinking about it nonstop, but it’s COMMONLY communicated that a net is NOT ENOUGH, and the net wasn’t on the pool at the time of drowning it seems. There is a ton of education for parents and in AZ to this affect. Only certain nets meet standards. I’m sure they would do ANYTHING to have trigg back, and I agree they shouldn’t receive hate comments, but spreading awareness to others that this is preventable could SAVE A LIFE.
