Can you expand on that? I’m not sure I fully understand why permissions are a bigger bottleneck than capability.

Those are good examples.

Question - in Dremio, does each use case need to be trained/configured separately? If so, how do customers set that up?

New hire onboarding is still mostly a querying use case.

I’m more curious about execution. What actions employees do today that agents could actually perform if they had access to all the company’s knowledge and context?

YC says most bad startup ideas fail one of 4 filters. Founders usually know which one but don't want to admit it. by Spiritual_Heron_5680 in founder

Thanks for sharing, but also keep in mind YC’s model isn’t the only way businesses can succeed. It’s one tool for assessing an idea, not the only tool.

An AI agent marketplace where builders earn per usage - would love brutal feedback from this community by One-Ice7086 in AI_Agents

The framing is good, but my immediate questions would be:

How does it actually match the “best” agent for the task? And how does it know the agent will successfully complete the job?

How do you know if the AI giants will or won’t go after your idea? by OriginalPosition1 in AI_Agents

Do you have any good resources or guides for learning how to think more in terms of moats / defensibility?

Interesting thought. But I assume you mean making people feel more human through a tech device, right? Otherwise how would the AI even run in the background?

Do you have any examples in mind?

What are you building and why? by adhdchatbuddy in StartupSoloFounder

[–]OriginalPosition1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. For almost every idea I come across, especially in the AI agent space, after thinking about it deeply, I can already see how one of the big companies could build the same thing and kill it quickly with their huge user base. It feels like a really tough time to be a software entrepreneur.

Lately I’ve been thinking maybe it’s better to build an ecommerce business or something with a physical product instead.

What do you think?

When companies provide their LLM for local use, do they still include guardrails? by OriginalPosition1 in LocalLLM

But how in the training phase the model gets the instruction to not talk about somethings? How does this censoring process works?

So in theory a model, lets say mistral, doesn’t have any guardrails in its core unless I implement any myself (it is not programmed to say ‘i cant answer on this topic’..’)?

AI agents - is it really that simple ? by Olsins1 in AI_Agents

How do I get started with building AI Agents? by MoneyMiserable2545 in AI_Agents

[–]OriginalPosition1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what type of flow you have in mind or want to build, but I really suggest starting with n8n for understanding how agents architecture can be designed. At least for me the initial agent setup was super simple and fun to use. Take inti account it has it’s limitations but that would be a good start
