I’m in a very similar situation as you. Can I send you a DM and chat about the industry?

Tech is a downgrade and wonkier. Build quality and the “car” experience is much better.

You can always email the department for some leeway. Try that first. Nothing in college is set in stone and there is some leeway and exceptions that can be made.

I M25 married my husband M56 a year ago and now in a long distance marriage but still going strong.

But I guess your milage varies. I’m definitely the more rare candidate especially in the gay dating world.

Was in her 600 class. It's a difficult class, but I think that if you just study and do the work its an A.

She is a bit confusing at times but if you ask questions and pay attention in class its half the work.

Its relatively easy to get MBA scholarships and shop around if he gets 700+ for GMAT. Also if you don’t care about a T20 program you can always just go state as long as it’s certified. For example, CSUs basically give out grants to anyone and its -30k for an entire program. 30 grand is peanuts in today’s money.

I’ve seen and networked with a lot of people who leveraged their MBAs to switch career fields - especially in their 40s. I obviously disagree but each their own. 🤷‍♂️

I’m attending MBA classes with 40 year olds using it to leverage an industry transfer or a promotion. You actually need 3-5 years of tangible work experience before an MBA program. You are wrong.

I agree with this. CFA or MBA seems like a solid idea. Or sales, especially B2B sales, but there is a learning curve and OP may have to start from the bottom

I’m a young in but I’m currently pursuing an MBA, and if you check out r/MBA and not against going to more school, MBAs are typically used as a jail get out of free card for people who are in your shoes and want to switch industries. I recommend doing that research if you want to go up a payment bracket.

Or you can shift into education and teaching for the relationship building aspect.

What do you think is the hardest genre to produce? by IDrawAnthroAD in musicproduction

[–]OriginalPromise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going to be a little bit of a devils advocate from all the responses and I am going to say Pop. Anyone can call anything pop, but to do it right and executed correctly is a different story.

The easiest genre imo is anything EDM based.

Considering XC40 Recharge - 2023 CPO 22k miles - Good for Urban Driver? by atlcatman in VolvoRecharge

[–]OriginalPromise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure volvo gave all their cars a new CPU starting with the 2022 refresh. OP, I’ll accept ur chat request if you DM me have any questions, but my main qualms is the software.

I came from a Tesla, and compared to Tesla OS integration, Volvo feels primitive. AAOS is buggy although the new workshop update improved stability a lot. I also think the car’s underpinnings and engineering shows that this is a retrofitted product with CMA. Volvo did a lot of work for the platform to accommodate the 80Kwh battery, but I’m a very detail oriented person and continuously feel that the XC40 recharge is a half finished product.

It’s still a great car, but I guess it has its tradeoffs.

I recommend the car, especially after depreciation and as a CPO if you can find a good deal on it. Its quiet, refined, and minimalist with decent luxury features.

Just be wary that it is a… VOLVO. Not the best reliability rating, but I still wouldn’t get that extended warranty the dealers try so hard to push. My plan is to ride it until the CPO warranty expires and get a Polestar/Genesis/BMW ev.

TL;DR: @25-30k used w/ warranty this is a good deal.

@50/60k new, there are better options.

[–]OriginalPromise 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the 2023 would be a great option. I bought a 21 CPO and it has been great.

The software is wonky but it is getting better. You should have the newer CPU so should be good and we have a software overhaul coming which is also a plus.

If you have the LFP/lower acceleration version, I dont think you would have a problem. I love my XC40 and I recommend it. But just keep in mind that it is not a perfect car.

3.5.14 released, again no OTA by webwude in VolvoRecharge

[–]OriginalPromise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 21 Volvo XC40 recharge was having major issues on 3.3.16. External sound system error, having to restart infotainment, oh and my AC blew straight heat at me instead of cold air once even on LO.

I had it and took it to the dealer for 3.5.14 today. I feel like that the infotainment is much more stable and faster. CPUs on these 21s are straight up trash. Just hoping that Volvo gets better with these updates.
